Think of that seedy little restaurant that you feel guilty going to because it's so good and the prices aren't bad. Not to say it's cheap,it's moderately priced, but it's worth every penny!

Finally tried this little spot on a Pork chop day, I prob should have had a sandwich somewhere else. They don’t believe in AC and the veggies were fair at best. The pre few red thing to do is make your own lunch and save yourself the extremely over priced menu. There is zero service to a table, you do everything for yourself. Plantation buffet is a far better choice for southern food in Athens.

It was early and maybe because we were first idk but everything but the chicken wings and bread was not giving and I was hungry and haven't eating yet so that tell's alot frfr. Smh disappointing ?

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! The manager/owner was rude yelling at me and my husband time we step and reached the counter. He did not let us think about what we wanted. He was yelling what he had cooking and we had to take what they had. Charged my husband 45$ for 10 pieces of chicken. It was my husband and me and our to young kids. 3 plates got two pieces of chicken and one got 4. Every plate got a piece of cornbread and two sides. It was over piece in my opinion and the workers and owner were not welcoming. Worst experience ever please do yourself a favor and don’t come here to eat. The owner was condescending and rude!!!!!!

We had a fish and chicken player that were very tasty. Dexter is a friendly host. Good food, decent price... petfect!!!!

Amazing Southern food, great fried pork chops and chicken and great mac and cheese and greens. Highly recommend if you want a true taste of Georgia.
