We love Wing House .. they have several locations, but Normaltown is our favorite just for the ease of getting to it from our house. We drive an hour each way - (bc we like it that much!).The parking is tight - but there is off street parking near by if its busy or you arent comfortable in the close spaces.All of their food is amazing - but Appitizers: Fried Mushrooms / Fried Green Tomatoes / Cheese Sticks and / Fried pickles!Pro Tip - Order 1/2 orders of each and have a sampler for your table to share!We found them via a Food Truck outing at a local brewery - and knew we had to visit their restaurant - If you need a food truck vendor - These guys are delicious!!Flavors - SO MANY to choose - but Hot Honey Garlic is our Favorite - the Lemon Pepper is also delish.(Mild-Medium-Hot-BBQ-Honey BBQ-Hot Honey BBQ-Dry RanchLemon Pepper-Garlic Parmesan-Hot Honey Garlic-Teriyaki-Honey Mustard-Jack Sauce-Mango Habanero-Sweet Thai Chili-Hot Honey)Last but not least - CAKE! - Home made, delicious, just like grandma makes ... One of my favorite dining spots in the Athens area. I’ve tried everything on the menu and have literally never had a bad meal or dining experience. 100% recommend Wing House for good food and a great time!
This is my second time at this place in maybe over a year. My first experience was amazing but never had time to come back. Today we decided to try it again since it was my birthday. The waiter was horrible. He looks like he was the manager and an older guy. First and foremost he had several tables he was waiting on. The fact that I heard how nice and kind he was with the other guests asking them things like do they wanted to order anything else or give them silverware made me wonder if he had a problem with us. We ordered an appetizer of fried mushrooms we didn't have silverware so we used our hands. But immediately gave them to the guest who sat down after us. They got their appetizers and food before we did and I know we didn't have a lot. He never acknowledged us for dessert or even an alcoholic drink just really gave us two boxes and our total amount. How did he know we didn't have separate checks he just assumed and never asked questions. My husband had to ask for the drink he was charged for although he had water. The food was great and for dessert, if two little Oreos are what y'all are all selling for that price then that's a scam. Nope wouldn't come back if I were being treated that way. I could've been his blessing today. He refills my husband's water with another Styrofoam cup. How nasty is that? They didn't have a pitcher of water to bring out. Yeah my second and last time

Food is great! There’s an employee here that has an attitude problem. I was telling her my order she kept rolling her eyes and looked irritated. I asked her for some sauce and told her I could pay for it she rolled her eyes walked off got the sauce I put my hand out to grab the sauce and instead of her putting it in my hand she looked at my hand and set it on the table. Just rude for absolutely no reason. It’s actually crazy to think I did nothing to her and she was just rude.

The server was the only one in the dining room. He wouldn't let me finish talking before he was walking away. He left us sitting with our drinks for a while before asking for our orders. I ended up getting mine to go because I'd had to wait on the rest of my party to arrive, then I didn't have time to eat when he finally brought it out. The food was good.
