Legit one of the best bagels I’ve ever had. My order is super simple. Just an everything bagel toasted with butter. It was phenomenal. I should also say I grew up on NJ/NY bagels and this is on par.
I hate to leave bad reviews but there’s a level of cleanliness I expect when eating out. I went to the Duluth location yesterday and had a wonderful experience from the customer service to the bagel it was perfect and the fact we came in 10 minutes before closing. I wanted to go back to 101 bagel cafe but the Cobb parkway was the closet location. As I come in the store isn't up to par it looks like someone’s abandoned kitchen office. The staff wasn’t friendly, I asked for a water cup and the drink fountain was rusty & moldy and in very bad shape. My order was a matcha latte and an avocado egg and cheese bagel. The matcha wasn’t made correctly they lost their strainer . My bagel had only one bite of avocado the egg was not freshly cooked it was lukewarm. Just an awful experience. Just compared to the Duluth location it’s literally night and day. Highly disappointed.
Got food poisoning from eating here. I’ve eaten at other locations and everything has been 10/10 so I decided to stop by at this one. I wanted a bagel with with egg and cheese, the cashier had an attitude, she wanted to give me cheddar instead of the cheese of my choice.I also ordered an iced coffee & a fountain water, when I got to the soda machine to grab my water the soda machine had so much mold so I opted out of my water, then I went to the coffee station & all the creamers and milks were luke warm, I wonder how long they had been out without being rotated.I get my bagel and the eggs are completely cold and cheese not melted but eat it anyway as at this point I’m just trying to get through this awful experience. Within an hour my stomach starts feeling funny- The whole night thereof I had really bad stomach cramps and vomit which made me missed a day of work. will NEVER be back at this place and I HIGHLY suggest anyone to consider going somewhere else.
The bagels were alright but nothing very special. I liked the number of variety though. I would say I liked their cream cheese more than the bagel. I do want to try their muffins when I visit next time because they look scrumptious.
Waited 15 minutes for a toasted bagel with schmear on the side. As you can see from the picture… where’s the toasting? First time and last. Flavor mediocre at best.
I've had lots of breakfast bagels around the perimeter, and these are probably the worst sammies I've had. They look beautiful, but definitely do not taste the way they look. I ordered the Western and the 101 on Asiago bagels. First, the bagels are not good at all. Second, I'm unsure what meat or eggs are used, but they are also pretty bad (tasted like microwaved meat and eggs). The best things about the place are the employees (so friendly and quick) and the iced coffee. They've got coffee ice cubes (so your iced joe isn't watered down)and a lieu of cold brews to choose from.Other than the coffee, I wouldn't recommend spending your $$ here.
I have been coming to this location for years but just decided to leave a review after I had a wonderful experience the other week when I went in on a busy weekend. It’s wild seeing some of the negative reviews on here when I’ve never had a negative experience with the cashiers, but have absolutely witnessed them displaying more patience than I could hope to muster with various rude, entitled and downright aggressive customers who will see the employees working their butts off running back and forth adeptly to tend to one person or another’s needs, and then turn around and get rude with them because, surprise surprise, your food won’t be out in five minutes when you were the tenth family in line. From where I’m standing the staff are saints. Sadly, reviews are usually driven by those same rude and entitled people with a vendetta. On to the food: The bagels never miss, always great taste and texture as close to New York as I’ve ever gotten in Atlanta. They have a great deal on the dozen on Tuesdays, and their Reuben and sliced Nova are excellent. Never been disappointed. They have surprisingly good coffee which you wouldn’t really expect for a non-coffee shop. I don’t know if this is a mom and pop but it doesn’t have that cold hyper corporate feel. You can literally watch them make the bagels from scratch and bake them, and I think the cashier said they make the cream cheese too, but I don’t know for sure, don’t quote me on that, but it tastes fresh. They don’t wear nametags but I wanna give a shout out to the cashier with glasses and the one with pink hair they’re very accommodating. And everyone in the kitchen churning out the food constantly. Saw them put out maybe 20-something sandwiches in the middle of the lunch rush for one order once. There have been a lot of other great employees over the years but it seems like they turnover often.
Decent. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly until I asked for my small coffee. I simply asked “hey man, did you get that small coffee?” To which he responded you didn’t ask for one but here. I did though, you may have misheard, easy mistake. But don’t get smart with a customer who just tipped you five dollars for putting bagels in a bag.
Big shout out to the young black lady who told me about the lunch special after 11a.m. where you get (sliced nova)bagel, chips, drink at a discount rather than $14. No matter what time I come I’m always used to paying that reg. price but it makes sense to let your loyal customers know that the lunch special is available. Also, kudos to that young black man who is always working so very hard almost daily there. He may be the mgr. but I don’t know their names. You are seen and appreciated. Thank you
The food is good and the coffee is good. But did you know that if you order a sandwich like the Rubin or something similar that is more difficult to make … and people come in after you with easier to make orders …they will CONTINUE to put your order behind until other orders are completed. In other words I watched for people come in after me, put in their orders and the staffs attended to those orders before even starting mine. I stood there wondering, did they forget about me. Then I asked the kid up front what was going on and he said “oh they haven’t started yours yet because there’s other stuff it’s easier to make” unbelievable.

I generally get the Avocado Toast with Bacon. This was clearly made with their eyes closed. It was not very appealing once the bacon was taken off. I was not able to eat it AT ALL wasted $13. Now sure if the Avocado had spoiled or was not ripe. Just disgusting.
I finally found a bagel baker in greater Atlanta that actually knows how to make a bagel like they do in Brooklyn and Manhattan. And they are large. Keith took our order and was patient and helpful with my friend that had never had a bagel before. Service was fast and accurate. I like the 3 coffee strengths and the coffee additives. Nice touch. The bagels had the tough skin like the ones I've had in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Every other bagel I've had in Georgia was essentially just bread with thin bread crust, which is not a bagel even though they look like bagles.
5 star SOLID Bagels, seriously. The reason I'm giving it the four star treatment is the death by a thousand little issues problem. The bathrooms were very dirty and the towel dispensers didn't work, the floors were sticky and the tables weren't very clean on top of the whole place needing a fresh coat of paint. Solid food regardless but the place needs a little TLC and then I would say it's a solid five star bagel spot.
Delicious breakfast Sammie’s and iced coffee! It’s very basic inside with not much as far has decorations but there are a tables and they have board games. The staff was friendly and answered the questions I had. Plenty of free parking. Happy I found this breakfast spot.
Disappointed is all I have to say. First off lady taking our order would not talk above a whisper couldn’t hear a thing she was saying. Gave us the wrong coffee order not to mention the iced coffee tasted like water. The bowls were just mediocre. Everything in the bowl was not fresh I guarantee. It looked like chopped up freezer meat I could get for 1/4th the price I paid. The worst part is it looks good but it’s very deceiving. Not to mention the mystery soup at the bottom ?
