The food at 5Church Midtown was delicious, and the drinks were good, but overall, the experience didn’t live up to the price. The service was just okay—not terrible, but nothing special. The biggest issue was how long it took for the food to come out. We were there for way longer than expected, and at these prices, I expected a much smoother experience. Speaking of prices, $24 for an espresso martini is insane.

I have often enjoyed dinning here but when we decided to attend their New Year’s Eve event last, our waiter, without telling us it was above capacity proceeded to charge us for it. When we went up stairs above the restaurant where the event was and it was crowded beyond imagination. We couldn’t get a single drink and all the food was gone. I was upset. Nobody ever picked up the phone or called back when I left a message the days after. I was never refunded. A very poorly organized situation.

$20 cocktails on plastic cups at rooftop venue. Theyre not even crafted cocktails. And tip is also included. Meaning for one cocktail the tab is $25+. Such a lovely venue but not worth it. Wont recommend or be back.
If youre gonna charge those prices live up to the standards.

The prime rib sandwich was exhibited on menu as a hoagie but came on hamburger bun/roll which didnot help the “funkshway”.. but everything else was great.

I recently hosted a group of 8 professionals on a dinner outing at this restaurant and was quite disappointed. After being seated, we waited over 23 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order or even acknowledged us. I had to get up three more times to find someone to assist us. This level of service was unacceptable, and it overshadowed any positives.

The atmosphere was great, the service was good, and the food was ok. The kitchen needs to monitor quality control as food leaves the kitchen and also revisits the monitoring of flavors.
Came here with my man and went straight to the bar ordered me a lemon drop. The Lemon drop was sparkling and wasn’t what I expected. Although great hospitality; would come and visit again
