We had an overall good experience at this restaurant. The food was okay. We ordered the whole snapper, salmon, and squid ink pasta. Everything was ok.

After dinner, we informed the server that it was a birthday and asked for a dessert. Unfortunately, the dessert came without any candles or a birthday message, which was disappointing and took away from the moment.

Aside from that, the service and atmosphere were fine, and everything else went well.

Portions were a bit small and food was a tad slow to come out, but our server was dynamite, and the food was excellent.

For dinner, sushi tots were an excellent starter. Lobster Mac and Whipped Potatoes were sensational sides. The Mediterranean Fish was super rich, thick, and flaky. The Cacio e Pepe was grand, although I would choose a protein other than chicken next time.

Chocolate mousse cake for dessert was delectable.

Will def come back.

Beautiful decor in the main dining area and sunroom. We sat in the sunroom but the service was slow, especially the bar, it took forever to get drinks to our table and it wasn’t busy. The sushi appetizer was amazing. I ordered the French toast and it was small and burnt. My friends ordered the burrito & brisket sandwich they both liked their meal. I just made a poor choice I suppose. Parking here seems to be valet only.

5Church was a beautiful location and the food was great. Service overall had room for improvement. Our waiter was very slow in servicing us, and I believe his shift ended, or his break started, in the middle of our dining. We had to wait a long time for someone else to wrap us up.

We also had a strange experience with valet. We pulled into valet around 2:45-2:50. Before we ordered our food, the valet came in said his shift was ending, and gave us our keys. He seemed to expect a tip and I gave him a small one, but I was miffed by that. To top it off, our car was unlocked the entire time.

Overall, I would go back again while in the area, but I hope for better service all around.
