5.0 | so so sad 8ARM will be closing their doors. I hate that Ponce is becoming a space catering to its tourists more than its locals. I’m hoping that 8ARM will relocate close by and it won’t be permanent, but knowing how the engine of capitalism works, I don’t blame them if they want out. This weekend is their last 8ARM pop up, with a very talented chef Maricela, who does elevated Mexican cuisine. everything was sooo incredible. I tried the jicama with the pour of mezcal. wow! what a pour, and pairing it with the jicama was an experience I feel like folks should at least once. the oysters were incredible and the taco, WOW. I inhaled it lol. everything was amazing, my friend got the rice and the frioles, incredible as well. you came rlly go wrong with anything on this pop up menu. it’s not going beyond this weekend though, so if you see this go now! hopefully you make it in before they close their doors I believe officially in October. 8ARM is an ATL treasure.

Very sceney- young hip Instagram vibe. Nice outdoor bar area. Food was good but a little overpriced. Spot is closing in October but will have rotating chefs until then. Like the steak tartare the best. Ginger beer was yummy

My work wife first took me to this restaurant. I loved it so much that I returned a month later with my husband. The sushi is divine. The drinks are carefully crafted.

The food was okay at best. We got some salmon sashimi and some hand rolls. The wait staff was nice enough but a little inattentive-- They kind of just forgot about our table until the bill. We also got drinks and they were very subpar.

Quaint location. The staff's unobtrusive attentiveness allows for a pleasant dining experience. The chef has curated a number of deliciously curious taste combinations.

This place is SOOOO beautiful and unique/timeless/accessible for all bodies AND everyone who works here is gorgeous and so sweet. It’s tastefully designed and when I went to the bathroom and smelled the fish from the kitchen omggggggg!!! And you know that old school rule to not try new things at places?? Mmm mmm, try the thingsssss! I got a dirty ume martini and I have NO regrets at all!!!

Amazing time at 8arm!! Our server was so sweet (Duvi) & everyone who works here is just gorgeous. The food & drinks came out quick & were creative & delicious. The atmosphere & decor are super tasteful. If I lived in Atlanta I’d be here all the time.

I took my uncle here for dinner tonight. He was a bit skeptical of the decor, but as soon as he started eating he was very impressed. We started off with seaweed salad and the chicken karaage. Both dishes were excellent. The seaweed salad was very fresh and the chicken was perfectly fried- nice and crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. The next course was the octopus skewers and the beef tartare. The octopus was perfectly grilled so that there was a little bit of bite but not chewy and the flavor was nice and savory. The beef tartare was the star of the second course. The mixture of the Wasabi, beef, yuzu, and tobiko with the nori was a truly exciting experience. We could not stop eating it. This dish is a must try!!!Finally, we ended with the monkfish and the yellowtail collar. Both were as delicate as I was expecting and perfectly seasoned to add depth and richness to the fish without overpowering the flavor of the meat. I will absolutely be back with more people, so that I can spread the word about this wonderful restaurant!Overall, my favorite dish was the beef tartare. What an unexpectedly delicious combination of flavors! I can't wait to come back and explore the sushi menu

Ate at 8arm the evening of 3/9. Service started out pretty well and we received drinks and apps at a timely manner (about 10-15 minutes). No so bad. About 3 waiters were working the room so looked like the flow was doing well for other tables as well UNTIL a couple actors walked in and joined another group making it a table of 5.At this point, all waiters diverted their time and attention to said table. Our drinks and food then started coming out between 45 minutes to an hour long (even after we were told that there was one less staff person working that night). And I noticed this with one other table who arrived around the same time as me. This only worked for us as we ordered enough food to hold us over. Tables that arrived even after the "celeb" table were ordering and getting their drinks/food within 10 minutes or at least more timely than my table. Now I don't know if this celebrity owns the place or is a regular, but I don't think that should affect how the rest of the restaurant gets treated.I want to mention this is a small restaurant on a Wednesday night with plenty of staff on hand. Disappointed in the lack of consistency of service. Food and cocktails were delicious and filling and redemptive enough to not make the night a completely negative experience.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to mid-pandemic. Vaccine and masks required was a major plus for us. Food was immaculate, all incredibly fresh and well priced for the quality. We had steak, chicken, and sweet potato yakatori, two rolls (spicy and regular tuna,) the beef tartare, a very fresh crudo, and mushroom soba noodles (so much umami!) No dish was a miss and service was super quick without being rushed

Server was nice but didn't know anything on the menu. Couldn't answer any questions even basic questions like "does this come with anything else?" "Is it spicy?" Etc. Food was brought then the food runner spilled a full bottle of Saki... I expected them to immediately offer to bring another one complimentary but I had to ask and even then was told "let me see what I can do..." I'm very familiar with craft cocktails but even this place is pushing it for the price. The owner should keep in mind your product has to be worthy of the price not just priced to cover cost of operations... Menu was limited and not very consumer friendly. You either want something specific on the menu or don't bother dropping in for a casual bite. There are better restaurants that offer similar with more options and atleast accommodating when they spill your drink. Decent concept but limited and over priced overall for what you get and the experience of breathing in nothing but exhaust on the patio...inside is dark and gloomy and not really an atmosphere.

What a great place! Drinks, food, service, all excellent. The pace of the meal was wonderful. They took their time and we had a very relaxing evening.

Just okay. Vegan options were plentiful, but lack luster. Had the veggie roll, seaweed salad and Vegan Ramen. Ramen had great presentation but was utterly tasteless. Veggie rolls tasted like just rice rolled up. Not even sure what was in the middle. Seaweed salad was actually my favorite. The Dressing was delicious, tasted like a ceasar dressing. A+ for atmosphere if you like a chill hipster vibe. Octo-ball cocktail was so strong I could hardly drink it. Old fashioned was very good. I’d love if they switched up the menu and offered different dishes or specials.

There are some great food options at 8ARM for dinner and even later. Stopped in last week in the later hours and got some food and drinks. The kaarage sandwich is a hefty one. Tasty and well worth it. Along with that, we ordered a kimchi hot dog and some sides. All very tasty. Plenty more to try out as well.

Really disappointed with this meal. We went to 8arm last week with an out of town guest. The takoyaki was overcooked and chewy. The roasted strip steak was also chewy. The chicken karaage and the tonkotsu were just fine, not great. I ordered the $17 pearl diver cocktail which was terrible. I returned it after 2 sips but the waitress did not remove it from the bill. There is a automatic 20% gratuity on the bill. So I paid $20 for a cocktail I didn't drink. We will not be back.
