Very nice owners. Second time here and both times we've tried jerk chicken, oxtail plantain, and chicken patties. This place is so simple but serves good and authentic Caribbean cuisine.

I eat here quite often, I first tried it last year around November, it is so good, if you're a student at GSU or if you live around the area I beg you to check it out. The food is fantastic, they serve it to you nice and hot, everything is fresh. The service is good as well, very nice people behind the counter. And the vibes in the market are really nice. Please check it out if you're in the area!

This was my first time at the Sweet Auburn Curb market! I was amazed at alll the vendors dedicated to the foods loved by my culture!! I love Caribbean food and especially love beef patties! Well they did not disappoint. The crust was buttery and flakey and the meat had just enough spice! It was absolutely delish! 2/2 Service was fast, friendly and efficient. 2/2 Ambiance: 1/1

Oh wow, real African food in Atlanta! My wife just came back from West Africa and she said the goat curry and veggies are just like back there. As for me, I just want my plantains, everything else just nice additions. :)

The food was not great or good. It needs so much more. It didn't give Caribbean, nor did it give African. The service, however, was EXCELLENT. I just wish they had better food.

First time visiting Atlanta and decided to stop into the Sweet Auburn Market (who can resist a name like that? ). Afrodish seemed most popular so I figured I was good and it did not disappoint. The guy in front of me went on about their plantains so I decided to try even though that would not normally be my choice for a side. the plantains dipped into the oxtail gravy was heavenly.

The food was BLAND ! No seasoning at all ! The oxtails had to be baby cows cause they were so small & the cabbage taste like water . The mac & cheese was good but full of grease .. they were nice however the undercooked rice and that horrible oxtail gravy I won’t be

It’s a cafeteria style place. Food is excellent. Service is sweet and pleasant. Their oxtail and goat curry have never let me down. We’ve been coming here since my freshman at Georgia state university. There’s always a line, but it move quickly. Parking is 1 hour free with validation.

BEST “quik stop” OXTAILS IN ATLANTA! Been coming to this place for 15 years. The consistency of taste at this place since day one is the thing. We’re there times when Ox Tails weren’t super tender? Yes, but 90% of the time they’re fall off the bone melt on your mouth good! Extra gravy pleeeze!Parking: free parking first hour. Don’t forget to stamp your parking ticket at machine inside the main entrance.

Since I became Vegan, this is one of the best food I have eaten. I get the rice, spinach and beans & the spinach is out of this world ?? ?
