All was great but, the noise level was too high. Service and food were excellent. We do like your restaurant a lot.

Incredible service across the board and at every level. Busboy, waitress, host were all on their A game. Just a friendly atmosphere and everyone working as a team to make your dining experience great. Highly recommend. And that Texas margarita is nothing to play with. If you are not ready to have your eyes crossing after 4 sips, leave that thing alone.

Opentable Diner

We had my son's Birthday dinner for 12 people and the food, ambiance and the service was top tier. Agave has been and will remain one of my favorite restaurants.

1st visit there, and I think I stayed quiet the whole time I was eating. It was told to me to come up for air!! Lol. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the food and the experience. The service was great and I'm sure I'll be back again.

The restaurant is very cozy with a lot of seating. Big plus is that they have complimentary valet parking.

As for food, it’s on the heavy side as with most Southern restaurants. The margaritas are a must try. I would recommend the owner/chef not serve fried food on top of mashed potatoes, like the Agave Fried Chicken for example. You put so much work to get a fried crispy part, only for it to get soggy when sitting on a mashed potatoes or another side.

The chips and salsa are absolutely amazing as well as the street corn! The burrito was pretty mid and didn’t have much flavor.

I had a good experience at Agave. They have complimentary valet parking. The service was great and the food was good. They bring out chips and salsa. The stuffed trout was ok, I want to come back and try other items. They have a bar and 2 sides to the restaurant.

The atmosphere and the service is absolutely wonderful. Here the attention to detail when they pay attention to their customers is absolutely wonderful. The food is great but the sum of it is spicy. Be careful

Came here for my birthday dinner with my husband. They offer a free valet parking lot with tips encouraged. The valet guy and everyone in the restaurant was very kind and even the manager was walking around and checking on people. I was not a huge fan of the location or the Atmosphere, it was a tad cold but the food and service make up for all of that. We ordered the scallops, tostitos, and surf and turf. The chips and sauce was good and fresh. The others plates were tasty. I was not a fan of the grits with the scallops and the collards greens were a but sweet for me but I loved the scallops.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. They offer high chairs and booster seats.

Wonderful food & service; prices seemed a bit high but that might be normal for an Atlanta location (I was visiting); good to see that Brian's table is still marked with a plaque.

One of those nights…everything went wrong!

1. Valet—opened only the driver’s car door and immediately ran to attend to someone else. He eventually returned, but gave literally no ticket or instructions and neglected to open the passenger’s (my) door. Weird and confusing.

2. Seating— We arrived a couple of minutes before our reservation for two. The doorway was very crowded as the place is extremely cramped. But the placement of our table was the worse part. They put us right beside the fireplace in the back room. Very cute aesthetically, but a logistical nightmare—-as we were very much in the way of all staff passing by. One of the waitresses even bumped into my fiancé. We asked to move and they moved us immediately. But mind you this was a reservation table—we should have never been squeezed in a table in the middle of the fast lane in rush hour traffic in the first place! They seemed to come to their senses and remove the table completely once we moved.

3. Service— Yikes! When we were seated, the host seated us pretty quickly and gave us chips and salsa and water. I noticed my app plate and silverware was missing, so I kindly asked him for a plate. He brought out the plate ONLY—completely overlooked the fact that I had no napkin or silverware LOL. Apparently he never informed our waitress of our presence either, because it took her about 10-15 minutes to even greet us. She was friendly though. We immediately asked her to move to a better table and she let us move, but by the time our new waitress took our drink orders, we had been there for 20 minutes. She also seemed frazzled, and only came over once she overheard me asking where our waiter was. She was nice enough, but no one was really personable or welcoming besides the first waitress we had briefly. We ordered margaritas and appetizers and they came out quickly. We also ordered entrees, but decided to cancel those and take our check early so we could try our luck elsewhere. Then a chef came out about 15 minutes to ask us if we were sure bc our food was “working.” It was nice of him to care, but we really didn’t need to extra pressure. We were already turned off from the place.

4. Food and Drinks— Chips & salsa- DELICIOUS! Some of the best I’ve had. I enjoyed the chicken taquitos, and the food plating presentation is stellar. Everything seems super fresh. The calamari came highly recommended, but we were disappointed in it. It was not super flavorful or super crispy. It may have just been an off night. I had the Mona Lisa Margarita, and it was decent. Very juicy and tropical. My fiancé had the top shelf marg and it hit him HARD lol. I would recommend that one if you’re looking for a STRONG drink ;).

Me and my fiancé go out frequently and this was one of our favorite date night spots from about a year ago. Too bad we were treated like a red headed stepchild this time! I get that Saturday nights are busy, but I wish they were a little better organized. Hopefully it was just a fluke, but bc of this experience I can’t recommend.

Agave serves delicious southwestern food and is a go-to restaurant for many of my friends. They are well known for their margaritas, and my visit is never complete without either a Top Shelf, Skinny, or fruity margarita to assist in scarfing up chips and salsa.

Agave’s decor feels like a nod to an older southwest with its eclectic accessories and dark woods. It is an intimate, cozy space that is perfect for date nights or connecting with friends and family. We have visited dozens of times to enjoy the food, beverages, service, and fellowship. Reservations are recommended. The bar is tiny and fills up quickly.

Agave receives weekly shipments of hatch green chiles and red chiles from New Mexico, making for delicious Hatch Green Chile Stew, Traditional Posole, and Queso Fundito.

We always order the Fried Lobster Tail, whether as an appetizer or as part of a meal. It is flash-fried with a batter with just enough spice and served with an amazing drawn chile butter.

The calamari is another frequently-ordered appetizer. The poblano aioli and pepper jelly are a delicious compliment to the super crispy and well seasoned calamari.

For dinner, we trend towards the lamb chops, seared scallops, and pork chops. Do not pass up an opportunity to enjoy the smoked bacon, honey, and cider collards or the tomato and serrano stone-ground grits.

For dessert, we have enjoyed the key lime pie and their seasonal cheesecakes.

I love love love this place.
It's a cozy restaurant always busy, however, never annoyingly so.
The food is delicious. The last time I went, I had the lamb and lobster it was amazing the taste the way it was cooked to perfection.
They have a variety of margaritas ? that will definitely not disappoint.
And then, for dessert, I had a keylime pie. Which I would highly recommend.
