This was my first visit to Agabe and I absolutely loved it. I went with a friend for a light dinner and it did not disappoint The service was prompt and the servers were friendly and attentive. We ordered several appetizers and all were delicious. My only complaint was with the Agave Meatballs-they were a bit too spicy. The fried tomato and grits appetizer was excellent. I will definitely be back.

Let’s start off by saying that this place deserves more than 5 stars. This is my husband’s and I favorite spot in Atlanta. We’re born and raised in Miami & willing to take a flight anytime just to visit this amazing place. We had the lucky pleasure of meeting the chef/owner of this amazing and cozy restaurant. His personality definitely matches his cooking, AMAZING! Please take some time and visit this restaurant if you are ever in the SE area of Atlanta. I promise you won’t regret it. I will keep my fingers cross and be hopeful that he opens a location in Miami. Until then, we will be flying to the ATL at least once a month just to enjoy this amazing food.

Wow! Just wow! Hubby surprised me with an anniversary dinner here. I've been wanting to try it for years and it did not disappoint! We had the special (surf and turf: lobster and lamb chops) and the stuffed flounder.... We had the mussels as an appetizer and the Mona Lisa, Coconut Lime and the Peachtree Margaritas. Our waitress surprised us with champagne and chocolate mousse to celebrate! We will definitely be back!!

The hidden gem of cabbagetown! I really should make a weekly reservation at this point. The food is so ridiculously good. Chips and salsa come but don't fill up... save room for dinner. The enchiladas are the same price as a burrito at any local chain... so it's a no brainer for us! And service is always so friendly. And personal. You leave feeling like family. The outside front is great for a cocktail (car and people watching). i wish they'd have dinner service on those patio tables!!! Oh and the spicy pb pie isn't overly spicy and a great dessert selection!

I had a reservation of 19 at Agave and it was all around a wonderful experience planning with them and having the meal at Agave. Jack their chef worked with me to customize a menu for the group including accommodating food allergies. The servers were welcoming and hospitable. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very cute. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for group reservations. Thanks so much Jack and Agave team!!

Great first time visit here. The food was different and flavorful and delicious. The inside is much larger than appears as well. Our service was friendly and provided great options to try. Would definitely come back!

Took my parents to Agave this week, they were visiting from Florida. All of us loved our meals. My mother asked for corn tortillas, and they have blue corn tortillas here. How cool! And the corn on the cob was just fabulous. It's hard to prepare it better than they do here. I had a vegan burrito (Vegans - ask for it, it's not on the menu) which I devoured. So good! Guacamole was fresh and flavorful. We went for a little stroll afterwards, which I'll add because Agave's location is also convenient for experiencing the quirky & unique Cabbagetown neighborhood.

Always DELICIOUS and Always FRESH! It was monthly date night for Hubby and I. We headed out to an early dinner. We headed in one direction but the GPS brought us back around to the AGAVE, it was Hubbies first time and he enjoyed his fried Lobster, and that AMAZING CHIPS and SALSA!! I had to grab bag and a bowl to go..it's always so FRESH!! See ya Soon ?

A beautiful, funky restaurant with some of the best New Mexican cuisine East of Santa Fe. The service was outstanding, with fun waiters and quick (but not rushed) attention. The food of the night was a special, which is being considered as a regular menu item. An amazing seafood enchilada dish filled with grilled lobster and shrimp. A lot of "Oh my Gawd" after each bite. Go there, go tonight, and make it your go-to place when you have a hankering for Mexican food. Just go. Then you can thank me.

Title: A Gastronomic Journey at AgaveRecently, I had the pleasure of dining at Agave, where I was treated to a culinary experience that left a lasting impression. One dish that particularly stood out was the Rack of Lamb with Lobster, a delightful combination that showcased the chef's skillful execution and creativity. Paired with a perfectly crafted French 75 cocktail, the flavors harmonized beautifully, elevating the dining experience. Moreover, I was impressed by the attentive and courteous service provided by our waitress. Her kindness and professionalism added to the overall enjoyment of the meal, creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. However, while the atmosphere was pleasant, I found the restaurant a bit cramped, with limited space in the bar area. Additionally, considering the portion sizes and quality of the dishes, I found the price point to be slightly on the higher side.In conclusion, Agave offers a commendable dining experience with its delectable cuisine and excellent service. Despite minor drawbacks such as space constraints and pricing, the restaurant's culinary offerings and attentive staff make it a noteworthy establishment worth visiting.- Calvin

One of our favorite spots to take out of town guests. Agave is an unassuming, yet exquisite restaurant in the Cabbagetown neighborhood offering up eclectic Southwestern dishes in a colorful and lively environment. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating, even on the busiest of nights. You'll find a unique and versatile menu, not your standard Tex-Mex, and their team is well versed on the flavors and heat of the dishes. Trust me and get the Hatch Green Chile Stew - I crave it regularly!Parking: It's worth it to wait for valet instead of trying to find parking in surrounding areas.
