Alici review
Amazing first time experience at Alici! FOOD is fresh and delicious!! Beautiful decor of hanging lamps, fresh flowers on table, comfortable chairs and quiet inside. Love the large space inside and outside patio as well, great ambiance!
Our server Liz was wonderful and welcomed us by introducing the Italian-focused menu, very attentive and friendly service. For dinner, we ordered:
* Cherry Blossom drink - 5/5 refreshing, had two!
* Clams Posillipo - 5/5, about 1” sized clams in the most savory sauce!!! You’ll need more dipping bread for this (extra portions are $5 - which is kind of weird)!
* Zita Alla Vodka - 5/5, large portion of pasta, tasty sauce, portion is enough to share amongst 2 people if paired with a meat/fish.
* Crusted Halibat - 5/5, OMG goodness crispy outside, tender flaky juice inside!
* Crispy Cauliflower - 5/5, wish all vegetables tasted this good! Perfect sharing portions.
* Amalfi Cheesecake - 4/5, nice lemon curd flavor, but what makes this yummy is the wafer-thin sesame tuile (could eat a whole plate of that). Needs something else…
A++ highly recommend!
It’s an oyster bar, but I didn’t even have any…definitely will go back and check them out. Was here for a birthday celebration (they had a candle and small dessert), but perfect for any outing, casual or fancy.
Parking is big open lot, best to reserve a spot online.
Parking: It’s a busy parking lot at the Midtown Promenade! They recently added QR codes, etc to scan. Rates are 0-2 hrs FREE, 2-4 hrs $5, 4-5 $15, 5-6 hrs $30 and 6-24 $40. Best to walk here if you’re close.

Service was great . Food was good. Happy hour includes reduced prices on small plates, select oysters and a limited selection of entree items.

I love the concept of this restaurant and I love the food. However, i think there have been some big operational issues in the kitchen and dining room recently. For example, We had a reservation then sat for 10 mins before being acknowledged. I literally had to asked a server if he could wait on us. The server tried his best but the side order came out much later than the entrees and drinks which were already delayed. This has happened 2x recently and the restaurant was mostly empty but fully staffed.

Came to the restaurant for the first time before attending the leukemia and lymphoma Society light the night walk at Piedmont Park. We sat outside on the patio on a beautiful evening. The server was very friendly though she could've been a little more attentive and timely. We ordered a few happy hour items, including some oysters that were delicious. The appetizers had good size portions and the food was extremely fresh. The entrées were absolutely phenomenal and everybody enjoyed their meal. The lobster with the bucatini pasta won the evening. Enjoyed the food so much didn't even have room for dessert. We will definitely be back!!!
We've enjoyed all the Porchetta Group restaurants and have been in Alici before but tonight was not the experience we were expecting. We ordered cocktails, Ceasar salad, 2 pastas and 1 wine from the happy hour menu and 1 wine from the regular menu. We were offered bread and accepted. Cocktails came out and there wasn't any time to enjoy them when everything else was brought to our table at the same time. First the pastas, then the Ceasar salad and then the bread with olive oil and a small container that we thought was parmesan cheese for the olive oil and pasta, but was actually salt. We didn't look so it was our mistake when we poured the salt on our pasta but I've never seen salt brought to the table in an open container not in this quantity. Ceasar salad was flavorful and good size so we were glad we split it but the lettuce was'nt broken into edible size pieces so we had to cut it on a plate that wasn't big enough so it ended up on the table. Staff is always friendly but it felt like a rushed dinner with items all coming in an odd order and all at once. Not sure if this was the kitchen, wait staff or combination of the two. I didn't check decibel rating which we often do in restaurants. The restaurant was quiet so we could hear ourselves without yelling. Not sure if we'll go back.

The crudo flight is artwork (only 30$!) Happy hour is till 6:30! The Italian Daisy and Amaro Smash are gorgeous- I asked for both of them UP and it was so good. Benjamin is a great bartender I made friends with the other people at the bar which was nice and they have Pelligrino over Topo Chico which makes me love them even more.

The best experience I’ve had in a while and I’m from Tampa. The food was to die for and service was excellent. Vera was our waiter and she was absolutely amazing. Will travel back to eat here again!

Really nice honestly not much to say everything was great. We went for their apéritivo where they have half price oysters at 1.5 dollars that’s a very good deal because they are very good oysters!! Then they have 12 dollars crude delicious but very small but that’s always with crudo so happy we friend and didn’t pay too much for it. Drinks were good too the beers are not really discounted for their aperitivo but they have a very good 10 dollars margarita. The pastas at 14 dollars are good too bit the best I have ever had but legit. Great service too so I think we ll definitely be back! Thank you

Yet another great meal at Alici's. Restaurant was busy, but not crowded, and my husband & I could have a conversation without having to shout across our table - a real treat in the midtown area. Service was attentive, but not intrusive, and the food (crudo flight, frito misto, cavatelli, steelhead trout & the peach rocher. We shared the appetizers and the desert.) was delicious.

Based on reading the "full menu" on open table, we chose to try this restaurant a second time. However when we arrived, the menu had changed and the Crudo items were no longer available. Both fish options I was interested in came without any sides and there were no options available other than ordering a full pasta option. Lastly, the service was just acceptable. Slow and providing minimum assistance. The place was about half full at 7:30 on a Friday night which is very unusual for a midtown restaurant of any quality and now I know why.
Delicious drinks (the spiteful monk!), yummy oysters, and shishitos. I had the mussels for my main — plenty and delicious. He had grouper saltimbocca. Everything was perfect. Service was friendly and helpful.
The food was 5 star worthy! Everything we had was amazing ! But the service was 6 star worthy. Ask for Elizabeth when you go. She's absolutely the best! Over the top knowledge and service!
