Went to this Latin restaurant over the weekend and by far a hidden gem as far as service. The staff and management were extremely polite and the servicer was patient and enthusiastic! The menu was a bit limited and portions were decent 8/10. Highlight: they have a weekly happy hour for drinks and tapasI ordered the salmon med well and the burger! Both were an 8/10.

I went to this restaurant this past Saturday evening to 3/16/24, celebrate a friend's birthday. The food was ok but the service was awful. We had a large party, some of our party never got their meal until after about an hour or more. They ran out of one order and instead of informing the person they brought him something that was substandard to what he ordered and tried to justify it when questioned about it. Some of our party didn't get portions of their meal. Some of the food was cold after waiting for an hour and watching others eat. While members of our party waited for an eternity for their food they were not offered anything for their trouble. The waiter just kept saying it's coming. When we received the bill, it was a nightmare to figure out. They would only print one bill for our party of 20 plus people. We all had to go through the one bill to attempt to calculate what our portion was. They included their 20% gratuity, and it appeared that taxed it as well. It took us a very long time to get the bill settled because of their confusing procedure. They did validate our parking tickets for the garage they recommended next door to the restaurant. When trying to exit, several of us were trapped in the garage because the arm wouldn't raise to let cars out. That took at least another 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. There wasn't a number to call and we didn't get any assistance from anyone in the restaurant. I will never go there again.

Food took really long to come out, and everyone ordered at the same time. Some people got theirs 30 mins after others had finished. Some steaks were overcooked, and some were raw. Couldn't spend anymore more time after already waiting over 2 hrs for all the food. Should of read the reviews before going. There are a lot of reviews complaining about the wait time and quality of the food. Ate what we could and left. I would not recommend this place.

First off, the place is gorgeous on the inside and outside. The bar has two sides (one outside and one inside). Luckily the weather was perfect for outside. The person who greeted us and sat us (Mario) was so polite and inviting. Our bartender was amazing! Her name was Ali. The drinks were sooo good and then she suggested a cocktail with cucumber in it. It was delicious. The food came promptly and the presentation was so great I had to take a picture. I got the Spanish Sea Bass as recommended by Ali and it did not disappoint in the least. There was a fire dancer on the inside and she was dope as well. High key recommend this place and will be returning with more friends. 20/10.

If I could give this place a 10 star review I would. First time visit from out of state. The service was amazing, best I’ve ever had. The food was delicious and the drinks were even better. Almendra helped us out at the bar. She was AMAZING!! Attentive, offered suggestions, had amazing customer service. Ended up staying way past our reservation to enjoy more drinks at the bar. Definitely will back. Thanks Almendra & team!

Attended a girls night on Friday night at 8pm. My friends were late so I got an app at the bar. It wasn't too crowded but I think it's because the establishment is fairly new. I can see this changing soon. The wait staff were all very nice, checking in periodically and getting what I need. The ambiance is Beautiful and delicate and not too overly done. Every dish was tasty. I have chicken empanadas, grilled chicken and Brussels sprouts. Overall I enjoyed. The menu is a limited with my preferences so I don't think I'll be back soon but definitely recommend.

I met some friends here last week and I was interested and excited because I love me some Spanish food. I walked in and the restaurant is very spacious and it reminded me of Miami Beach. We sat down and next thing you know there is a girl performing with fire. I was caught by surprised. I did not see that caught my attention but some friends ordered the empanadas and they loved them. Some ordered the croquettes and they loved them so much that they had an additional order. I just had the burger as nothing caught my attention and I was not impressed. They had no ketchup and it was very spicy. The potatoes were also spicy and I could not eat them. The burger comes with an aioli and the chef was eager for me to try it because it was placed on the side even when I told them that I did not want it. Maybe it was expo but they sure did not hear my request. I asked for another cloth napkin as I dropped the one that I had. I asked the waiter for another napkin and I was never given another one. Clearly, he forgot so I waved at the hostess and she brought me drink napkins. Something it is better than nothing. It was an okay experience.

Ambiance is sexy and intimate with great drinks! The slushy drinks are always stiff and flavorful. Great fire shows every night as well. Great date night spot. No longer have live music. I have to be honest though food has gone down hill since it first opened. Seabass completely lacks flavor and is thin , small and extremely bland with no flavor (literally none), salmon looks like it's literally 4oz and needs salt and pepper every single time, octopus is no longer smooth, flavorful and yummy but hard to chew and overcooked, the empanadas used to be regular size but are now tini tiny. They took off the scallop gazpacho which was the best thing on the entire menu. Such a let down. The only thing that continues to be good are the flautas de tuna and tostada de salmon. I live in the neighborhood so it's such a convenient spot for many of us highrise midtown people but overall you can tell they're cutting corners on so many things now. We needed a restaurant nearby so hope they start to put as much effort in as they did when they first opened.

Was scheduled to eat dinner at another restaurant, but saw a video of Alta Toro and made a change. I'm glad I made the right decision. We had scallops and mussels for appetizers. There were not a lot of scallops, but they were great. For entrees, we had HALIBUT VERACRUZ, TUNA CON CALABAZA, and SPANISH SEA BASS. All dishes were cooked to perfection. The mixed drinks weren't water down. Parking is free for the first 2 hours. They have a military discount. Great experience!! Our hostess Sophia was amazing!! Give this restaurant a try if you're in town!! I forgot to mention the beautiful fire dancer!!!
