The food was very good and plentiful. I especially enjoyed the fried calamari. and the ceasar salad. .The chicken parmesan was good and a large piece of chicken. The sever was pleasant and responsive. We will go back again. there are a lot of steps to get to the restaurant level. There is an elevator located in the service area. It needs to be freshened up. the walkway was poorly lighted dusty..
We are in Atlanta for a quick weekend getaway with our kids, aged 5 and 8. We made a last minute reservation at Amalfi Cucina because they had dinner items our picky kids would eat. We were sat promptly and given water almost immediately. We ordered the mozzarella cheese for my oldest and he loved it. My husband and I had the blossom flower appetizer....it was good but VERY cheesy. I was disappointed that they were unable to make me an espresso martini (featured on their menu)...
Almalfi is one of our favorite Atlanta restaurants. But last night's visit was somewhat disappointing. We ordered apppetizer, entrees and desert and none came out at an ideal temperature. Our server was very pleasant, but not overly attentive. If this had been our first visit, we would not be back.
