Had a 10pc combo and the wings tasted like old meat, the fries tasted like the freezer. If you’ve ever had fries that were frozen, you know. I typically do not write reviews but for the price point and quality, I certainly wouldn’t recommend. How ever they feel in that place is reflective in the food, and you can taste it. Good luck!
Disgusting as hell. Wings were huge as hell. I didn’t even eat the wings, I gave them away. please correct this, we want real chicken wings of a respective size. ew.

The front lady who wears glasses. That many many many other reviews are complaining about is so rude. She charged us MORE than what she was supposed to. She also started arguing with my husband about what he ordered. He simply asked if he paid for bone-in wings because since we were being charged extra he wanted to make sure he was getting the right food. And she just kept saying that he ordered “wings” and wouldn’t tell him whether it was boneless or bone-in? She never gave a proper answer and was raising her voice over such a simple question. Also there was people that left before us because obviously these workers don’t care about getting any customers. They don’t want you to order. Literally. Also, they got multiple orders wrong while we were waiting for ours. Surprisingly our order was one of the few accurate ones. We haven’t eaten it yet. But I’m not sure if it’s gonna exceed any sort of expectations. I don’t think so. 0/10. Also more expensive than what it needs to be for the quality of how it looks.

The customer service is horrible. These folks are a sticker for one extra condiment(Ranch). You spend 16 dollars and they have the nerve to charge 50cents for one extra dipping sauce. American deli needs to be shut down. The two ladies that’s working the front horrible .

the lady was so was rude and tried to get nasty with me . I wasn't up for this rudeness just because she did my order wrong . Also there are people in the kitchen eating with no gloves while making food .

Be sure to check your meal throughly. I ordered a 10-peice lemon pepper. They somehow put hot sauce in it, which i am allergic to. Smh
I was wondering why the reviews were so bad for this place until I went there. Mind you I didn’t even get to order because my coworker and I didn’t get to order…. The workers were all in the kitchen no one came out to acknowledge the line of people waiting to order. I would have been my first time eating there but had to leave because they were talking too long. I watched 2/3 other people leave after us.

As a fellow mall employee, this is the worse service I’ve ever received first they don’t offer employee mall discounts, secondly they treat their customers like cattle I ordered a ten piece with blue cheese and was told after that I couldn’t receive accommodations I was denied extra blue cheese with a ten piece meal. After paying $15 for a meal, I was told that one blue cheese is significant for a ten piece and even made to pay for one additional. For this being my first time at American deli, it will be my last. Food control after purchase, no acceptable accommodations for customers. Being treated as a number instead of a customer. Not to mention the unprofessionalism. It was only because I am fluent in Spanish I understood that my complaint wasn’t honored and I was being referenced in an unprofessional way by the gentleman working the counter. I do not recommend this place if you’re looking for quality customer service.

I worked at American Deli (2457 MLK DR)two different times. This second time I quit because the management sucks. Mr Chuni stole money out of my paycheck saying the draw was short every single day I closed. He also took my pay down from 13 to 11 dollars because I quit. They have roaches every where in the back all in the ice machine. They have immigrants working in the back that get drunk on the clock and harass the women employees. They threaten the young blk women and tell them if they dont work 7 days all day open to close they will be fired. They do not give breaks and we work 10hr shifts but they take it out our checks.
Diagnosed with Salmonella after eating here, I had a feeling the chicken wasn’t cooked right- I got here about 30-40 minutes before closing, no other customers around and asked for my chicken to be cooked crispy (like always) and the worker told me it wasn’t possible as this would take an extra 5 minutes… again 30-40 minutes before closing. I reluctantly said okay and noticed the chicken wasn’t possible squishy and didn’t taste right so I ate 3 out of my 10 wings and threw the rest easy- next morning woke up with horrible stomach pain, a fever and chills- I will NEVER eat here again and i advise you do the same.
