A fantastic surprise. We stumbled into this delightful restaurant on accident and plan to return often. Homemade bread, traditional Turkish meals with fresh ingrediants and a very pleasing atmosphere. Staff was happy, welcoming, and efficient. I look forward to returning again and again.

2 stars, only because the service wasn't bad. The food was honestly horrible- sadly. We got the beef kabob, it was just okay. The rice it came with was insanely salty (and I like salt) and the salad was meh. We also got the garlic fries which were a HUGE miss. Just tasted like grease- not even a hint of garlic. I feel like that should be hard to mess up.... And even the baba ghanoush was bad. It just tasted ... cold? If that makes sense? No flavor. Overall super disappointing, the only saving grace was our sweet server and server in training who diligently filled our glasses and checked on us the whole time.

We had the mixed grill for two and it was so delicious, we were caught off guard by how good it was lol. Decent service, cannot wait to come back again.

Truva is fantastic! The food is really spectacular, and the service was great too. It's a little bit on the expensive side but it's very worth it from time to time in my opinion. There are lots of interesting appetizers that are worth trying out and the mixed grill platter (available in one, two, and four person sizes) is a great way to try a lot of menu items out. Only complaint if I had to find one is that it's a little dark inside. That being said, I'd love to be a returning customer here.Parking: Has it's own parking lot but it's usually pretty full and costs $5. Not the end of the world but be warned.

This place is amazing. Not only the best Turkish food in Atlanta, it is also the best restaurant in Virginia Highland. I normally get the mixed grill but today I got the beef tenderloin and Adana kebab. Both were perfect. I also highly recommend getting the mix of 3 spreads. My favorites are babaganoush, muhammara, and eggplant salad.

Staff and food were incredible on Valentine’s Day! The maitre d’ even went out of his way to bring roses to each table so patrons could give them to their significant others. A very nice touch!

This place almost had a perfect 5 star rating, which is honestly hard to achieve anywhere, especially in Atlanta where our food scene is competitive. My friends invited me out to a Sunday lunch and I had never even heard of this place , nor had I ever eaten Turkish food, so I was so down to give it a try. There was a parking lot behind the restaurant to park. I came on Sunday, so I didn't have to pay for my spot, but I think you have to pay to park on other days. I am not sure of the restaurant validates or not. It is definitely a nice perk to have a decent sized parking lot so close to the restaurant though. You can make reservations on open table, which I would recommend during peak dinner hours. It wasn't too busy Sunday for lunch. When you walk in the restaurant, it is beautifully decorated with bright colors and authentic Turkish wall art and design. Our waitress was super helpful at recommending what we should eat. She shared some of their most ordered dishes, her favorites, and what items would be the biggest bang for our buck since we were all sharing plates. Here is what we ordered. We ordered the mixed grilled sampler tray as our main dish. It had different types of their speciality grilled meats that included chicken, doner, beef and lamb. It also included rice, grilled vegetables, and dipping sauces. The platter is definitely what you should order if you are sharing. We shared it among three people, and I could definitely see it being shareable with up to 4 people. I tried all of the different meat types. The beef tenderloin was my favorite. It was not overcooked and had so much juiciness and flavor to it. The chicken was my second favorite because it had a great smoky flavor to it. I also enjoyed the rice. We also ordered the grilled octopus and the smoked eggplant. Both were shareable as well and very good. We put the smoked eggplant on the homemade pita bread and it was 10/10! They also bring a warm tomato and oil based dip that was created by the head chef himself out with the pita bread. That dip is probably one of the best Mediterranean dips I've ever had. Our waitress said that it is so popular that they can it and sell it in the restaurant. Their pita bread is unlike any pita bread I've had before. It looks more like regular loaf bread and tastes fresh. Overall, Truva is a unique dining experience and definitely place you should try if you are in or near the Virginia Highland area.

We dined here on a Saturday night around 7:30. Due to a lingering party at the table that was originally reserved for us, the restaurant had to make other accommodations for Our party at a table in the bar area. Our server was actually the bartender, Jasmine. She was very friendly and welcoming. Our food was delicious and everyone on staff was very attentive. Our party enjoyed the falafel, hummus and the mixed grill, just to name a few. We would definitely dine here again!
