The food was subpar. The fried fish was tough. The beef patty was hard. The cabbage had no seasoning. The rice was standard. There was extremely minimal seating. The lady serving the food seemed super annoyed that we had questions and acted like we were taking too long to decide. ( being the only ones in there I didn’t see the need to rush) Not at all what I’m used to from a Caribbean place.

When I worked in the area I ate at this restaurant all the time.On my way to a friend’s house I passed by (going to a party that had food) I stopped with my friend and spent 80$ for our food! Met the owner who’s has one of the best personalities…. Long story short as I write this review I’m on my way back. The food is very delicious ??

I always pass this place and say “I’m going to try them one day” and so, I finally did. I’ll start off saying that the service was great. The young man at the register had no problem explaining what everything was. I ordered oxtail and my husband ordered escovitch fish. I personally think the oxtail needed more flavor and for $30, I got maybe about 5 pieces that was full of fat…. So much fat. The fish was good but the escovitch was a little too sweet for my liking. The rice and peas…. Top tier! I’ll try their other meats though… everything looks amazing. I’ll get my oxtail fix elsewhere.

Really good flavors. Looks like Hispanic food, but tastes are different. Different good flavors. I like to try different things, so it was good for me. The majority of dishes are oily.Very limited, place to sit down.I'll definitely come back to try something different.

My first visit to Andrea's today - I went to get oz tails for my hubby but ended up getting the ribs when I saw how delicious they looked. Hubby is a ribs connoisseur and when he tasted them, he claimed they are some of the best/meatiest ribs he's ever eaten. I tasted the rice/beans and cabbage; both were very delicious! I'll be back to try the seafood. Good food, great customer service, very clean establishment!

I’ve been here several times and it appears that Sunday’s aren’t the best days to come in. My experiences have been similar on three different occasions with some variations. One thing that’s been consistent on Sunday…the rice is hard. Every time I come in on Sunday I get hard rice. Today I didn’t even attempt to finish eating it. What shocked me about two weeks ago is when I went in and there were absolutely no vegetables! I was told they would be ready in about 30 minutes, waited and there was only cabbage. I also ordered a few spinach patties to get home and had 1 spinach patty and 4 veggie patties. I would be more understanding if I showed up close to their closing time….but this was 2 in the afternoon.
