My husband and I moved to Dunwoody about 3 years ago and we were on the hunt for a local coffee shop for our Friday pick-me-ups. We tried a handful but knew immediately that Ark would be our go to coffee spot. Fast forward to present day and we have gone to Ark almost every week since discovering them. We love the coffee and teas! Their weekly themes and specials are so creative and delicious. Their Instagram reels are also so funny and relatable. You can tell they care about their customers - from hospitality to sustainability, they care. They don't ask for tips because they pay their workers a livable wage. They set up a pumpkin recycle after fall last year where if you bring your real pumpkins after you've used them for decorations, they donate it to a farm and you get a free coffee. They have plenty of baked good options and space to sit and work in. One time we had ordered an iced coffee and after John put a lid on, it was over flowing and dripping and instead of handing it to us, he said he hates when people hand a messy cup so he took the time to pour a little bit out, put on a new lid, and cleaned the outside of the cup before handing it over. It's the little things. Overall- we love Ark and we recommend it to everyone to try.

They have a great coffee menu and lots of yummy pastry options! I was surprised when I paid and the screen didn't ask if I wanted to leave a tip, but saw a sign saying they pay their workers a living wage so it seems like a great place to work as well. When I went, they had a special menu celebrating Bilbo's birthday and the whole store was decorated like Lord of the Rings so that was fun too. My only complaint is the metal chairs are a little uncomfortable, but definitely will be going back!

I have been coming to Ark periodically, but since I make my own coffee at home, i haven't taken full advantage of coming to Ark as often as I could. That said, everything they offer is delicious and sometimes we make a point to go in to buy little gift items when we do go get coffee. Their beans are delicious as well. I must add that I ordered some gluten free/dairy free donuts from them for an event at my daughter's school. Most people who are not gluten free don't often choose to eat gluten free baked goods but I swear these are better than donuts with gluten. They are cakey and delicious and not crumbly like most gluten free baked goods are. The staff there is so kind and accommodating and I think they do so much more at Ark than most people realize because they are so humble and perhaps under-advertised.

This is my go to coffee spot. You will spend close to $10 for coffee but it’s for all the right reasons! The employees are wonderful and accommodating, it has a nice local feel, and the quality ingredients are expertly crafted into the best coffee I’ve ever had! You will not be disappointed if you understand what Ark is about. This is not a dunkin, this is a local shop with people who care about what their customers are consuming.
This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Atlanta! The BEST coffee and pastries. They have a great specialty drink menu that rotates often. Their staff is absolutely amazing and so kind. I just can’t say enough about Ark! *chefs kiss*

Actually amazing. The best coffee/matcha drinks we could ask for. We make our own coffee and matcha at home and usually don’t love paying for them out 😂 but would happily pay for these again! So good, so well balanced, not too sweet, delicious deep flavors, perfectly brewed, great even down to the texture of the ice cubes. They had a chocolate foam and a sweet cream cold foam, both so good. I got the mint vanilla matcha, never thought I’d want mint flavor with my matcha but it is truly delicious and I am changed 😅 And, they were incredibly fast! And family owned and operated! So awesome

So so so happy I found this hidden gem! The attention to detail to their themed drinks and pastries (yes, I noticed the dinosaur sprinkles for the Jurassic Park theme) is admirable. The staff is so kind and you can tell they love what they do. And as a gluten free girly, I was pleasantly surprised at how many GF options they had. I had the vanilla donut and the vanilla scone - both delicious. Oh, and there’s plenty of outlets/workspaces. So nice! Thank you, Ark Coffeehaus!
