I stopped by this location again hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, this was my **fourth visit** where the food was **not ready or available**. This is supposed to be a **buffet**, meaning the food should already be prepared and ready for customers — not hours away from being done.

When I asked about the specific item I came for (**pig’s feet**), I was told it had *just* been put on and would take another **three hours**. That’s completely **unacceptable and unprofessional**, especially for a buffet-style restaurant.

As someone who isn’t from this area, I genuinely wanted to support local business — but **the lack of preparation, timeliness, and customer service needs serious improvement**. Until then, I can’t recommend this location.

I think this place was supposed to be a a buffet. However, she said the hot bar was down. I ordered the fried chicken (they didn't have a Breast), Mac n cheese and collard greens plus corn bread. The food was good.

The food is fantastic! The owner is very nice and makes his customers feel at home. A Soul Food buffet cannot be beat! If I were to be critical, they could have a bigger selection, but for their price, their selection is good enough for me! In conclusion, I will definitely patronize Ashford’s Kitchen again!

In town for a powerlifting meet, and they were able to fit our whole team in the restaurant, and the food was down home southern deliciousness!

New favorite spot! This food is what you're looking for when you want grandmas cooking. The customer service was fantastic. It was like going to dinner at your cousins' house after church. It's a little hole-in-the-wall gem and we will definitely be regulars.

Had lunch with family here. The restaurant is a bit basic in how it looks but the food was absolutely delicious and service was excellent. Very friendly. It’s a lovely buffet with classic soul food dishes

My folks have been taking me all over ATL showing me different restaurants. This is the best one so far. If you like GOOD flavorful soul food/grand mama's cooking this is the spot to be. My little brother plays on the Georgia State University football team and he brought some of his teamates, family, and church folks here. This is the real deal y'all!

My husband and I was looking for somewhere to go for dinner to celebrate our 19 yr anniversary. I was looking at another restaurant but I changed my mind after reading the reviews. I went in Tik Tok to find suggestions and I saw this restaurant and a couple of others on there. This one stood out to me because the different videos showed a few different items on the bar and they all looked good. My husband and I I read through the comments and decided to give it a try. We invited my son also because if this place was as good as the comments read I wanted to share that experience lol. When we arrived I’m not going to lie I prayed before walking in. I have been fooled by reviews before. We went in and I’m like ok it’s only 2 people in here oh God please don’t let us be wasting our money. My son finish getting his food first and as we were walking to the table he says yes everything is so good. I had hope I said yes that is a good sign. We sat down and ate and Omg I started calling out my ancestors and my in laws who are no longer with us names because that food has a lot of old souls helping in that kitchen. The food is so good here. I give this establishment a 10/10. I am so happy I found this little hidden gem I will be back even if I have to get my plates to go it is worth every penny. Thank God for the owners ancestors for blessing the chef(s) in the kitchen. If you have not tried Ashford's Kitchen you are missing out.

Real soul food all you can eat i promise you will try but you will not succeed 2 plates im mad i was to full the fishhhhhhh oh my god . Can you be my auntie please? What yall doing for Xmas auntie you cooking ?

This is ridiculous. I feel like I’m eating store bought food warmed up on a burner. I am disgusted. I could vomit. The price is not at all worth it. A complete waist of money. They don’t even have all the food they advertise.
