ASW Distillery at American Spirit Works, home of Fiddler Bourbon, Winterville Gin & more

Nice spot to explore different whiskeys, but unfortunately, none of them were to my taste. The price per bottle felt a bit steep for the flavor profiles.

Attended the Fathers Day high-proof tasting and had a great time.

ASW Distillery provided the perfect setting for our book club meeting, and I can't say enough about the experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home. The tour was fascinating, offering a glimpse into the intricate process of crafting their exceptional spirits. Each step was explained with passion and expertise, and we were all captivated by the story behind the distillery.

We sampled a variety of their finest products, each one more delicious than the last. The flavors were rich and complex, a true testament to their craftsmanship. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, ideal for our group of ten women to relax, chat, and enjoy the afternoon.

ASW Distillery went above and beyond to ensure our book club meeting was memorable. Their attention to detail and dedication to creating a fantastic experience did not go unnoticed. We all left with smiles on our faces and bottles in our hands, eager to return for another visit. Highly recommend for any group event or casual visit – this place is a gem! Five stars all the way!

I really enjoyed my tour and learned a lot about the distillery process. Wonderful tour guide! Engaging employees and wonderful drinks! The perfect activity to do on a lazy Sunday.

Visited AWS on June 29, 2024 and really enjoyed it. All the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Brian (with an I) was our host and he was excellent. He did a great tour and continued to engage with the group after the tour concluded while we were hanging out in the bar. Plan to go again and highly recommend.

We hosted our wedding here in the Barrel Room. My husband I and I had been several times before and had always love their drinks and the environment. The wedding was fantastic, and the staff was amazing. I had several guests comment to me that they had never heard of ASW before and didn't know about the venue or the whiskey. I know of at least one that has since bought a bottle, and everyone was impressed with how perfect the space was and how friendly the staff was.

This is a treasure within Atlanta as their distillery scene is maturing towards that of Tennessee. I tried a Friday sipping of the four treats below.

Resurgens Rye ('21 Double Gold winner at SFWSC -San Fran World Spirits Competition)
Fiddler Soloist Bourbon (prior SFWSC Gold winner)
Duality Double Malt (a renowned Georgia first one-off)
Tire Fire (an experimental peated whiskey)

Definitely must hand it to the distillers at their craft. All were phenomenal tastes, and well worth their pours. The two standouts in my opinion were the Duality and Tire Fire. Me personally being a peated Scotch enthusiast above all, really admired and appreciated their rendition in the Tire Fire.

To top off the review, the bartender, Bryan and saleswoman Maggie were amazing to discuss libations with. Cheers!

Had the best experience at this place. They were super friendly and provided a lounge type experience. Not a crazy bar scene. The make great Old Fashions and ask for the Rhubarb bitters.

Israel was absolutely amazing, I surprised my fiancé with a tour/tasting and it was a top tier experience, absolutely pleased! Israel is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be busting the other locations because of him. Thank you Israel and Asw staff for making this an unforgettable experience.

It's just an amazing distillery with the best location and service!

We have toured here, done some events and just hung out for some cocktails. Everyone is so nice. Their bourbons and mixed cocktails are great and the cocktail list always has some seasonal additions. The newly opened Northeast Beltline trail will put you very close to ASW and the ever expanding fun neighborhood they are located in.

The staff and atmosphere are equally laidback and professional. We really enjoyed talking with Madison at the West End location … both about the Whiskey and just dishing in general about local/community news. It was a great place to highlight the authenticity of Atlanta’s hospitality for my out-of-town partner!

Wonderful vibes. Have been here for a comedy show and for the Toasted Release this weekend. Got to tour the distillery with Whit which was very informative. Best tour I've been on.
