The food was good. The southern influenced Italian meant more tomato and less heavy cream sauce, which was nice

I must say I was surprised to see such a highly rated Italian restaurant in downtown Atlanta. The interior is very nicely done feels very cozy and intimate and evoke more of a northern Italian feel. The food itself is very good, but I wouldn’t call it excellent. It’s well prepared and hardy-leaning more toward a southern Italian cuisine. The bread we started with was OK, nothing great… I had a perfectly adequate salad and my colleague and I both had pasta dishes, which were good but not off the charts. Our servers were very good young, enthusiastic, and eager to help. It is certainly worth a visit here.

We stopped there on Saturday evening, with no reservation,we were seated right away. The waitress,Bulgarian lady, was very nice and thorough explaining the menu.We got a flat bread and spinach pasta bolonegese, Wine and rum. Pasta was lacking flavor and it was not hot enough ,the flat bread was very salty.Chianti wine paired well with pasta. It was cold inside,I would suggest adding heaters .However, the atmosphere was warm ,staff very attentive.

I had a wonderful experience at Atalian in Atlanta. I ordered the Gnocchi and the Marsala, and both dishes were absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was welcoming + everything felt fresh and high-quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!  I want to give a special shoutout to Marvin! His customer service was exceptional from start to finish. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure my dining experience was perfect. Marvin truly went above and beyond, and he’s a big part of why I’ll be returning. Thank you, Marvin!

I wanted to so much to like this restaurant. We were there on a Saturday night at 7:30-the most popular time to eat in Italy. The place was not even half full. I sent back my salmon 2 times because it was raw. Finally I chose the steak Marsala which was delicious. And then waiters and waitresses were super super kind but...they kept wanting to take our plates away when we weren't finished. And the waiter wanted to serve us water in our wine glasses. It was such a crazy experience.

Excellent dining experience. The food, service and atmosphere all made for a great date night. Great wine list and very friendly staff. We'll be back!

We had very good service and an excellent table suitable for a dinner with three other professional colleagues. I loved the idea of Italian Southern fusion but found the dish that I had a little too saucy. Overall, the meal was good.

Tanner was a very friendly and attentive waiter who made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

This was a pretty fantastic experience. I had probably one of the best Bolognese pastas I’ve ever had. The server was incredibly kind, attentive and eager to please. The drinks were solid. I had an old-fashioned with one of their proprietary whiskeys that was fantastic as well.

It’s hard to give any serious criticism except I did notice that the asparagus came out tasting a bit bland. There was no salt there is no Parmesan there’s no lemon. But when I asked for the salt and lemon, it kicked it up a notch. The new paragraph and the only thing I would say about the server is that he did ask if I wanted some Stillwater and then proceeded to bring me out a full bottle which I assume that they charged me for, but I didn’t check. It’s a bit of a sneaky trick that many waiters use so I don’t blame him, but when you ask for Stillwater you just want some tapwater. Other than that, this is a must experience restaurant. I’ll come back for sure.
