Mr. Paul and the chef are extremely talented, personable, and professional. I was there to help for a day when they first opened and had the opportunity to try some of the food. The lamb burger was simply the best I’ve ever had. All of their plates look like art pieces and they do the best at making each one picture worthy.
The atmosphere and decor really set the mood. They had a vision and they executed it. I’m excited to come back sometime and try more! Great job
Auburn Angel may be new to the casual fine dining scene, but you certainly wouldn't be able to tell that when you eat here.
The staff and service is first class and personable. The space itself is small and friendly, featuring an open bar area with some large booths and a more private dining area with window views of some green space.
The food is phenomenal.
Beetroot tart is a must try, featuring flaky pie crust, piping hot layers of thin sliced beets and a delicate goat cheese mousse. And yes, eat the flowers, they add a wonderful herbal flavor.
The fruit salad was a bit wet for my taste, but the flavors were fresh and bright. The star of the show was, however, the Corvina. An impossibly tender and delicate whitefish fillet, cooked to perfection. This dish features an array of flavors that will leave your palate wanting more such as lemon butter and hints of tartar. This is the best fish dish I've had in recent months.
The chefs here go above and beyond to source the freshest, seasonal, and local foods. The plating itself is michilen worthy with elevated flavors and superior ingredients to match.
If you are on the fence about Auburn Angel having good food or not... it is spectacular. Definitely give this place a try for a first-class casual fine dining experience with top-notch culinary skills to match. I know this place will be in the same conversation with other michelin recognized restraunts in due time.
Thank you and looking forward to my next visit!
Parking: Free street parking and lot behind the restraunt. Lock your car and don't bring any valuables as it's not the nicest neighborhood.

The service was immaculate! We came on a rainy day so we were the only people there and felt
like royalty. Our server , Binta, learned all of our names and addressed us personally throughout the night. There was a slight mishap with my food and it was handled beautifully. I got a complimentary dish on the house! The owner is so friendly and welcoming as well. The food was beautiful and tasted even better. I highly recommend this place I will be returning !

What a hidden gem! The venue itself is stunning, with spacious, comfortable booths and soft lighting, plus a large outdoor patio. The menu offers a great variety of small plates and entrees. My group sampled nearly everything, and every dish was a delight, with the Lamb Neck, Beet Tart, and Kale Salad being particular standouts. Each dish was refined and perfectly balanced. The overall experience was fantastic, from the delectable food to the superb service and cozy atmosphere. The dessert service was exceptional as well. I'll definitely be returning! This place is incredible, though it's not in a busy area, so parking might be tricky—consider using a ride service. We had no problem finding parking but when everyone finds out how great this spot is it might get tricky.

My husband and I ate here soon after they first opened. We stumbled upon them after leaving the Sweet Auburn Fest. I'm late to post so I don't remember what we had but I remember we both liked our meals. The service was great too. Hayley (or Hailey?) was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The only mild annoyance was the seating. Our table wobbled and the pew-like seat I had was a challenge to get in and out of because of the minimal clearance between it and the nearest wall. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would return.

We were a party of 8 and wanted to try this new restaurant in the Sweet Auburn District. We had a wonderful dining experience. The ambiance was great, newly renovated but they thoughtfully preserved the integrity of this historical building. I am an Atlanta native and remember well when this was the Auburn Avenue Rib Shack, where MLK dined. I went there with my father as a child, so it's very special to see how they honored and transformed this special space. The food was outstanding and the service was great. We will certainly go back soon.
Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian options and they were delicious: A candied jack fruit salad, fried mushrooms, a beautiful little gem salad, and the chef graciously made a delicious vegetable plate for my friend
Parking: easy to park behind the building and valet as well

Fantastic!! I have tried several items and the flavors are on point! For small plate options, the servings were generous. I really love the freshness and creativity. Tartare is my favorite so far. Keep it on the menu! Beautiful setting. Sure to be a hit.

The prawns and squid were a piece of art, so it was a tall task to taste as good as it looked. The lamb burger is an elevated and unexpectedly better version than I've ever had before (order it before it leaves the menu).
Our hostsess, Khepera is the absolute best! She made the night delightful and was full of insight that was relevant to our visit.
Thank you, "Mr. Paul" for a great experience on Auburn Avenue.
