This place was one of the best restaurants I have been too! We got a little bit of everything from hoe cakes and clams to spare ribs and peach bbq ribs. All of it was amazing! The chef and Mr Paul were also great and super friendly!

Had an absolute amazing time. I am new to GA so this will def be one of my go-to spots! Ambiance was soft, I loved the music selection and it wasn't crowded, best combo! Our waiter was awesome and the food taste amazing!

Another Foodie Friday in the books followers. We visited @auburnangelatl for our Friday Shenanigans and we have to sat there were some hits and some misses. We give a 7/10 but with some caveats.
The pluses:
😍 Restaurant is gorgeous on the inside. I mean stunningly beautiful. You can tell someone really thought out the lay out and that the staff keeps if looking spotless.
😍 Our customer service was great our waitress did an excellent job serving us, though we felt the kitchen staff didn't help her much being slow and messing up some of the food.
😍 The donut holes dessert was creative and the best thing we had.
The minuses:
😒 The food service was really, really slow despite our waitress best efforts. It took us a long time to get food even though the restaurant was about at 30% capacity we would guess.
😒 We received one of the veal chops half cooked and not safe to eat.
😒 When the veal chop was returned it was the same chop just broiled with more gravy on top making it scary to eat. This is a no-no for us in food. Most restaurants would provide a new meat portion to ensure the patron knows it is safe.
All in all we think the restaurant had creative dishes, great customer service and a beautiful ambiance. The cook staff isnt doing the servers any favors though with long wait times for under cooked food.
Due to the issues with food security, long wait times with a luxury price we probably would not return. Which is unfortunate because it has so much potential.

We had the most enjoyable Valentine brunch at Auburn Angels. The food came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the fish and grits and it was seasoned perfectly. The ribs and grits were just as good, tender and full of flavor. Every bite was worth it.
The vibe was quiet and relaxed, which made it easy to enjoy good conversation and just be present. If you’re looking for a spot with great food and a calm atmosphere, this is it. We will definitely be back.
Thanks Chef Tregaye

The food (cold app and main) , service , and atmosphere were a disappointment. Been here for brunch and it was a hit, but dinner was a miss. Best part was the old fashioned and Mr.Paul!

You must try this place. I don’t know how we stumbled upon this place, but it’s an absolute gem and I’m so glad we did. The food was truly exquisite…easily one of the best Atlanta restaurants in my opinion and I feel like we’ve eaten everywhere. It’s elevated Southern cuisine that feels refined yet still incredibly cozy and comforting.
We had the ribs, hoecakes, short rib, and chicken (oh and a delicious soup on the house) — every single dish was outstanding. Mr. Paul was a fantastic server and bartender, and he shared the history of the building, which was really special. Great music, great atmosphere, and all around an amazing experience. Atlanta restaurants just aren’t delivering like this, and we were so impressed. Highly, highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved it! Ambiance sooo nice!! The spot is beautiful!! That bartender did his big one on them French 75! They hit!!! Food is great! Had to have the hoecakes and pot licker! Just like my grandma used to make. The deviled eggs were ahhh-mazing!!!!! The textures of the toppings were soooo good! Now, my husband tried the ribs and grits! He got into it before I could get pick! Smoked to perfection! Grits were sooo good. He even gave kudos to the eggs. Scrambled with cheese. Sounds simple but they were perfect. I had the steak hash! Soo much food. Steak cooked perfect. Again, portions huge! Flavors everything! Hailey was a great server! Customer service was great. We will be back!

Auburn Angel deserves their win at Taste of the Fourth 2025! The food is prepared to perfection and the staff is very friendly. The chef and owner are very gracious and humble. It feels good when a business like this has such delicious food as well.
