OMG! My husband and I will definitely return for brunch dates. The atmosphere was relaxing and close but intimate. It's an upbeat but mellow, smooth vibe. The entrees named after old school R&B hits, the background music to match, and the images on the walls; all made it flow perfectly. We received a warm welcome when we entered, we didn't wait long to order, and our food came in a timely manner. Our waitress was kind and on point. I appreciate such great service in a cool atmosphere with an awesome vibe. 10 stars for Augie's Cafe! The food was DELICIOUS!

Love the Retro atmosphere. Service was top tier. The food fresh , hot and delish…I will bring some friends the next time. We had the French toast and Catfish/grits. Bussin!! As my kids say!!!

I had salmon and grits. The portion was okay.., but the food was lacking seasoning. The grits were swimming in butter, so they obviously weren't holding back on seasonings for health reasons.

There were only two people in my party and they still added 20% gratuity. The server even stated we could pay additional gratuity, if we wanted 🙄. 20% gratuity is outrageous for someone who didn't even refill my cup once, and never gave me a receipt. This tipping culture has really gotten out of control!

I was I the area and noticed a group of people leaving the restaurant. I arrived just before closing, after the rush, I was welcomed in with a smile. I was the only one there and the food or service did not disappoint and was on point !!! The chicken was crispy and hot, the waffles were just right! Chef Eric did his thing and Draper is the best !! Go check them out.

"I visited Augie’s for the first time on Wednesday, but it definitely won’t be my last. I had the ‘You’re the One I Want,’ and let me tell you—I’ve never had catfish seasoned so perfectly. Every bite was hot, fresh, and full of flavor, right down to the honey butter biscuit. Our server was attentive and personable, giving the best recommendation. This spot is truly a hidden gem in the West End, and I can’t wait to go back!"

The service was great and the food was amazing. It definitely generous questions. I recommend this place 1000 times please check out the best kept Secret in da A. Dapair (forgive me if my spelling is off) our. server is amazing.

If i could give this quaint restaurant 10 stars I would!!! The ambience, the food, the service absolutely impeccable. Drapper gave great recommendations, the grits with catfish and shrimp was amazing! Food was definitely made with love.

OMG GUYS! Do not hesitate to stop by and devour this amazing flavorful dishes! The spinach was sooo sooo good! Lord! Mom and I ordered chicken & Waffles and grits with shrimp and catfish it was on point.
The service was amazing, caring, and on time. Thank you Draper you are so kind and lovely! We will definitely will make this our place for Brunching and Breakfast

This was my husband and I’s first time here and we loved it! We came in hearing great things and great recommendations and we were not disappointed! Our waitress had a light, positive and bubbly attitude which we enjoyed, the decor was nice and loved the music and movies playing and the food was delicious!!! We got the peach and strawberry Mimosas, the Chicken and Waffles (can’t remember what it’s called on the menu), a side of eggs, and the Salmon and grits. Had to stop and commend the 1 chef to let him know he was doing an amazing job! Will definitely recommend to others and will surely revisit!

This place is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we went back to back weekends. The chicken and waffles were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!!

Perfected Breakfast! I might ONLY eat catfish at this restaurant... I haven't eaten that fish in 2decades.. This breakfast is MMMM... MMMMM.. GOOD!
