The worst coffee shop not troop supported and crappy attitudes. Everyone should support troops they are serving our country. Then I hear the lady tell a black person that’s not serving our country I’m thankful for you. For what what does he do give you money for coffee the volumes spoke loudly there. ZERO STARS IF I COULD ALSO THE COFFEE ISNT EVEN GOOD! Dunkin is 100* better!
They were out of white chocolate, didn't get try the specialty lattes, house coffee good, nice porch seating

Got a small iced coffee, Asiago bagel with tomato spread. I didn’t like that my bagel wasn’t toasted and given to me dry as if it were straight out the pack. My coffee tasted watered down and plain. The tomato spread was good. I also did not feel welcomed, I was not greeted when I entered. The only time I was spoken to was to get my order and my money. Then asked for a tip LOL. I am an African American female btw. Yet the white man who entered after me was greeted and taken care of. I felt very unwelcomed but I guess I know why now. Will not be returning.
Just amazing coffee and music

Just average, nothing special in my opinion.
I had an iced latte with oat milk and vanilla, pretty basic drink. The drink was okay, it didn’t offer much flavor and was pretty pricey. The interior was large but with no seating. It made for an awkward experience. The baristas were friendly and seemed to work efficiently.
My experience here wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t stellar and I would not come back given the opportunity.

Excellent, quick service and great coffee. The espresso is top notch. Skip Starbucks down the street and get way better coffee here.

Best coffee in town. I usually go for black iced coffee, but the Polar Bear from here is my only exception.

I’ve been coming to Aurora since around 2004 (Mathis, James, Amanda era) when there was another location in Virginia Highlands.
It was so cool to see James still at the helm and still geeking out on coffee. They have never once disappointed. The consistency and genius behind the roasting and dialing-in each day is, hands down, the best coffee in Atlanta. I’d even argue it’s the best in the country.
Since I now live in California, I’m always nervous to go back because I don’t think I could handle it if they ever dropped in quality. They’ve managed to stay relevant despite all the sugary competition.
This coffee brings me so much joy. As I sat on the patio, I remembered the mid-2000’s guitar jams I would have on the patio when L5P was less yuppie and more hippy/hipster.
Atlanta, please don’t take this gem for granted. It’s gritty, quirky and the baristas have always had a witty attitude. These guys make coffee-making look easy but it’s not.
I typically go for either a shot or an iced almond latte. Both are excellent. Aurora’s beans have a velvety, chocolaty richness with the perfect amount of acidity that makes it seem like you’re sipping on a sacred liquid.

I like Aurora for the nostalgia and the history. In its old location it was history in the making. A neighborhood gathering that brought people together. It still does that but has the 5 points twang and attitude. The espresso is good but could be tweaked to make it smoother and stronger
