Best Dinner experience period. Chef Karl is a master he has curated the best food, staff, wine pairings, cocktails, you name it. The attention to detail and execution is astounding. This restaurant deserves all the accolades. Shoutout to Jess at the bar and Gabby our server, but it’s a team effort. A wonderful experience and they went out of their way to make our anniversary special.
The food was exceptional, but the service did not match the fine dining menu and atmosphere. I heard our server tell the table next to us that they needed to put their entire order in at once to make it easier on him and the kitchen staff. He didn’t know the wine menu or general language around tasting notes to share with the sommelier. It wasn’t a bad server necessarily. My husband and I had a great experience at Avize, right from the atmosphere to the food everything was amazing, will def recommend it to our friends and family, their whipped butter and pretzel buns are so delicious, I ordered the Norwegian halibut and my husband ordered American wagyu, both the dishes were flavourful and well plated! Highly recommend trying it out
