Absolutely a letdown! We were greeted by a host who seemed to thrive on drama, setting an overly theatrical and condescending tone right from the start. After being rushed through our order of two basic omelets and a coffee, I was left wishing for a culinary miracle that never came. The food was so forgettable that it barely registered, and the $35 bill felt like a punchline to a bad joke.We left vowing never to return. Do yourself a favor and skip this place—there are plenty of other restaurants that offer better food and a welcoming atmosphere without the unnecessary theatrics!

I feel like if you're complaining about the staff's attitude, you likely brought the wrong attitude into their establishment. Our experience was positive from the moment we walked in. Actually, scratch that. We weren't even through the front door yet when we were greeted warmly. We trusted their recommendations on food and drinks, and we're so glad we did! For anyone complaining that they judged your food choices, I just think that's genuinely funny. There's nothing wrong with talented chefs having pride in their dishes and wanting them to be enjoyed as intended. Excellent conversation, a little local history lesson, and insanely delicious food really made our day. It's unfortunate the media seems to snub this little gem, but Anthony Bourdain would have dug it, and that says enough for me.

Colorful, friendly neighborhood eatery. Food is as interesting as the decor. Both sweet and savory offerings from different parts of the world make for an interesting breakfast experience. Definitely have a dessert. Homemade jams looked enticing.

The only thing better than the food was the service. It was like being taken care of by a thoughtful host. He recommended drinks based on our food choices and we tried drinks we wouldn't have otherwise. The food was amazing. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. You have to know where you are going as this hidden gem is tucked in beside flashier venues. But definitely go.
