Babs is a midtown institution!! Don't listen to all these sensitive people. The owner is incredible and only mean if you deserve it. Their brunch is honestly breathtaking. Very creative food. Quality drinks. Amazing service. Reasonable prices. There's no reason not to go - unless you can't take the heat. And if you can't take it, it's a reflection of your own shortcomings.

Absolutely love it here. So cozy and the foods ALWAYS amazing. My fav is the BLT risotto everytime it's on the menu I immediately know what I'm having. Although when my fav aren't there I can always trust they'll have something I like. Breakfast is always the best here ! And I love how friendly the staff are I always feel right at home.

Just had a wonderful breakfast. The BLT risotto was delicious! It was a creamy spin on a BLT. Our host was so friendly and made our experience fun.

Babs is BY FAR my favorite brunch spot in all of Atlanta, if not the world. The food is incomparable and the service is delightfully, uh, candid. You want to eat here. Trust me. It's unforgettable. I'll be back!

Midtown location: The food and place are OK and the guy behind the counter ruined it. His behavior comes across as rude and condescending. The restaurant's setup and the atmosphere are uneasy because of him. BTW the rest of the waitress were nice and attentive. You don't get to sit and read a menu, you have to pick at the entrance from the menu without prices and then pay a premium for God knows what you just picked and how good it is. Seems that this location has the worst reviews. We are not coming back if he is there.

The food was ok, but the owner was extremely rude. He didn’t have any desire to make our experience good. He kept rolling his eyes when we couldn’t decide what to eat, he made weird remarks on our order and it felt rushed overall. Both when we ordered and he asked us to leave our table before they even closed for the day. It was really not a nice experience and would never recommend anyone to go here.

this is my fave brunch place in Atlanta! honestly Sundays in atlanta are terrible if you want to actually sit down and eat food without waiting hours, but Babs consistently provides delicious food (and a pretty consistently rotating menu with a ton of specials), a short wait, and such a kind sweet helpful staff that i go there pretty often. love babs ❤️

We initially chose this restaurant based on it being dog friendly and the name Babs.We knew upon arrival that it was a great decision. We were welcomed by 3 staff members and the gentleman at the counter swiftly explained the menu and gave us great recommendations. (He also had very fun banter with us and others)Simply put, this was one of the better “lowkey” dining experiences in a long time. We will be back on our next ATL visit.

Babs Midtown is more than a restaurant (I mean, it IS located in the garden level of an old home)! The culinary team is incredibly talented, the staff is amazing, and every experience is memorable. Their incredible commitment and generosity to community and arts is also outstanding and an extra incentive to patronize this jewel of a restaurant!

First, the gentleman behind the counter, who I assume is the owner, was quite pushy and rushed us as we were trying to figure out the menu. I felt like I was buying a used car -- not breakfast. There were no prices listed -- and his cashiering was so quick I couldn't tell what we were paying. The total was upwards of $60 for two meals and two cocktails. The food was ok -- the pancakes were baby sized and we didn't taste the lemon and ricotta they claimed were inside. The WORST PART -- we literally had just finished eating when the pushy used car salesman came to our table to tell us it is a small restaurant and if we wanted to stay we needed to move to the "lounge." Dude, let us digest our meal. Expand or deal with it. I could see if we were sitting there for an hour. Would NOT go back.

Love Babs and Randy is a treasure for the neighborhood. The cranberry matcha pancakes are delicious. A must for brunch!
