After looking for a rib joint anywhere in the area on labor day weekend I finally found back yard grill. Being that I'm very picky about my barbeque I was skeptical because it was my first time...babbyyyyy let me tell you that this place DID NOT disappoint!! I got the rib tip dinner w/potato salad and baked beans and I was IMPRESSED! EVERYTHING was delicious!! Oh baby and the spicy barbeque sauce was a MUST HAVE! A black owned restaurant I will continue to support! Good job guys!!

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted. The cashier was knowledgeable and nice. She got my order in a timely matter. My family been going to the restaurant for a while now. I decided to try this restaurant & when I tell you, EVERYTHING i ordered was great. It was soooo good. The ribs was flavorful, this will be my new go to restaurant. I love this place. Thanks for placing a Black Owed Restaurant in our community with great customer service!!!!!!

I have had the ribs and rib tips both are amazing, the potato salad and fried broccoli AMAZING!!! The 2nd time I had the Mac and cheese it wasn't all that, but the 1st and 3rd time it was a hit. My man got the smoked sausage OMG SO GOOD. And don't get me started on the lemonade my favorite is the peach mango and the tropical punch, I'm not sure what the blue one was called but I like that one too. I wish I had pictures but I never have time I devour the food as soon as I close that car door. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he is such a cool dude. I've been here 3 times in the last 14 days, I would eat it everyday if I could but I have to adult or whatever. Oh and I haven't had one issue with anyone who's taken my order all the ladies have been very polite and helpful with any questions I've asked.

I drive all the way from Douglasville to try this. I got the rib tips, food was pretty good, but the green beans seemed to be slightly over seasoned. As stated with another bbq review, I'm only rating it 4 out of 5 not because of the food but due to it being just another bbq establishment, that does not offer anything truly unique to bbq. Or should I say that offers something different outside of the typical chicken, ribs, sausage. There's bison, duck, seafood, even alligator but I'm not setting any establishments that is willing to step out the norm & be truly different outside of their house bbq sauce or a twist to side items. Other than that the food was good & worth the trip just to try this spot.

Small yet modern and cozy! The decor is so nice and the employees were vibrant and friendly. My friend and I went there today and we each got a pulled pork plate with potato salad and beans. After looking at the menu we also decided to each try a lamb chop and cornbread. Everything was delicious! The portions were perfect as well. The potato salad tasted just like my grandmother used to make. The beans were beyond flavorful and the cornbread was just slightly sweet which really complemented the sweet and spicy sauce on some of the most tender and moist pulled pork I have ever had. The lamb chops though were the star and perfectly smoked. So much so that I didn't want to stop chewing on the bone. I can't wait to eat there again!

What can I say the BBQ here is so dang good i can't even describe it you just have to go there and try it so I've have the ribs the meat falls off the bone the smoked wings are to die for let the mack n cheese be mackin the green beans are so delicious as well as the fried broccoli it's fire and one of my favorite items to buy and the staff is always nice.
