Old Hickory House was closed on Monday, so dinner took an unexpected Italian detour into Tucker, Georgia.

Tonight we stopped at Bambinelli’s Italian Restaurant, and from the moment the garlic rolls hit the table, I had a feeling we were going to enjoy this one.

We started with meatballs, garlic rolls, and a bowl of Pasta e Fagioli soup. The soup was the surprise of the evening. I’ve had Pasta e Fagioli at a lot of Italian restaurants over the years, and Bambinelli’s version was better than most. It was hearty, flavorful, and loaded with ingredients.

For dinner, we ordered spaghetti marinara and baked lasagna. The spaghetti came topped with a generous portion of chunky tomato sauce, while the lasagna arrived covered in melted cheese and served piping hot. The meatballs were large, tender, and paired perfectly with the house marinara sauce.

The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and inviting. I especially liked the giant “Get Lost in the Sauce” sign and the bright red Bambinelli’s logo projected onto the floor near the entrance. It’s clear this is a place that takes pride in what they do.

What started as a backup plan ended up being a very enjoyable meal. If you find yourself in the Tucker area and are looking for classic Italian comfort food, Bambinelli’s is worth a stop.

I had been craving… chicken parmesan all day so I Googled “best chicken parmesan near me” and saw this restaurant. I noticed this restaurant a while ago, and it always seems empty. However, I read great reviews and decided to give it a try. So happy I did!!! The food was DELICIOUS and was exactly what I wanted! I’ll definitely be back and share my experience with others.

Fresh, hot BadaBing Pizza ws delicious! The Caesar salad had wonderful garlic croutons & large pieces of parmesan. Yummy!
