QUICK service great food been eating there for years

Tucked into a shopping center and next to the busiest LA Fitness ever, with charming decor and inside and outside seating, Bantam + Biddy has the best, gluten free fried chicken and sides I've had in a long time. Portions are ample and served fast, with care.

Dietary restrictions: Almost everything is gluten free, and the menu is clearly marked.

So I don’t know how this place isn’t booming with more people…like the weirdo I am, I came for the coffee but asked for the barista to “play” and make anything he/she/they wanted. I said I’m not allergic to anything (that would normally go in coffee anyway), I just want it “sweet, creamy, and caffeinated enough to take out an elephant.” And that…hero (barista’s are amazing you guys!) made me some wizardry of French Vanilla Breve Latte and it delivered better than digorno. It was so tasty and properly balanced with such delicate flavors AND it didn’t kill the coffee flavor. *Chef’s kiss* The general service was super friendly and quick with the food (I had the Southern Delux). The meal was enjoyable and just how I liked it with the fried okra being cooked to perfection. There is outdoor free parking and the place wheelchair accessible and welcoming to any and everybody. Go have fun and explore!

Wheelchair accessibility: Yep! Wheelchair accessible!

Incredible gluten-free food without the hassle. Each dish we had was gluten free and more delicious than the last. The fried green tomatoes were delicious, a meaty perfectly cooked tomato with a deliciously crispy and crunchy finish; goat cheese spread put this appetizer over-the-top: a must try. Then we got to the entrees, the meatloaf is an incredible texture well-bound for a gluten free varietal of the classic comfort dish with a light and fragrant tomato gravy that made for an incredible main, that contrary to what you may think when you picture meatloaf, isn’t too heavy/fatty. The chicken tenders were also out-of-this-world with a deliciously crispy cornmeal-based coating hugging deliciously tender and juicy chicken. The wasabi-honey dipping sauce can not be missed!! The gf jalapeño cornbread mini muffins that accompany each entree were also delectable. Sides we tried: Mac and cheese (delicious, creamy, not overpoweringly cheesy), spicy greens (cooked to tender perfection, not very spicy at all), pickled beets and goat cheese (good), kale Caesar salad (solid dressing, good portion of high-quality Parmesan), fried Brussels sprouts (crispy veggie perfection), house-cut fries (classic, well-salted). I will be back the next time fate brings me to ATL.

Let me start with the good… The Creme Brûlée Latte was AMAZING! OMG! It had that crystallized sugar topping that crème brûlée is famous for! I can’t say enough about it! It was the best part of B&B. The barista is extremely talented!

Next, the service was pretty good! Our server was very attentive and friendly. However, the guy that brought out our food, wasted hot grits on my girlfriend and just said sorry and went on about his day! He didn’t even ask if she was okay!

Unfortunately, the food was just okay! The grits tasted like they’re made with evaporated milk… Waaaay too much of it! The Jalapeno Cornbread had no taste. The deviled had absolutely no seasoning! It tasted like mayo and yolk mixed together and that’s it! No salt, pepper, nothing!

Now, I will say that the fried okra, pancakes, and bacon were delicious! But again, the Creme Brûlée Latte was the star of the show! I also had a Rose Latte but I wasn’t a fan. It tasted like a grandmother smells! 🤣

If I were to go again, I’d definitely get the Creme Brûlée Latte and stick with the Southern Deluxe Breakfast! 🥞

I'm in town and visited this amazing place with my 33 year old daughter. Both of us have gluten allergies and we had one of the tastiest and most memorable meals ever! You have to go here . JB made us the best cocktails!

I came here early one Saturday morning and had a delicious meal. I am surprised that this place doesn't have more customers.

This venue is in an outdoor mall but on the outside of the mall. I couldn't see this place from the street but it is easy to find once you are in the parking lot.

The staff are nice and a really like the decor.

I ordered the Big Chicken Skillet. You should ask for Wasabi Honey. It is chicken hash (breakfast potatoes, onions, bell peppers, chicken) with 3 eggs and 3 chicken tenders. The meal is huge and the Wasabi Honey pairs perfectly with it.

OH MY GOD!!! What an amazing experience. I came back for round 2 after having lunch here yesterday. First of all, the lunch was excellent and all of our dietary needs were met with great care and attention! You can tell the staff here care about their diners experience and safety. What a welcoming place as well, with warm greetings and service from the staff. I had the 3-Egg Burrito and almost lost my mind. Fresh squeezed orange juice was a great compliment to my breakfast and my side of grits were better than any I’ve had in the South. Thank you so much for the unforgettable dining experience!

This place was absolutely amazing. As someone with celiac traveling is often stressful when it comes to food. A quick Google search and we found this charming spot.
The food was amazing.
The staff was so friendly and helpful.
I haven't had a good meatloaf and fried okra in almost 7 years. And when I tell you this place absolutely exceeded marks I mean that!
I got the meatloaf with Brussels and Fried okra. Also the apple zing drink!
I highly recommend this to any one traveling through Atlanta. This places is a must go for all celiacs!

10/10 y'all!

The eggs are AMAZING! The staff told me they work with a local black owned farm called Local Lands that even has a store in Ellenwood. Love that they are so connected with the community and their farmers. It shows in the food. The staff is super kind and not overbearing. Love this place for an evening time breakfast food fix 😂
