It's a great neighborhood pub! Super dog friendly inside and out, as long as they aren't barking inside. Everyone is super friendly, the burgers and fries are delicious. Great spot to grab a drink.

Sat for almost 25 minutes without service, wasn’t really that busy.
It is my considered theory, that the proprietors of this establishment would have christened their house Batman, had not the law or some meddling agent deprived them of so heroic a moniker. Thus, with a wink and a shrug, they settled upon Bantam, no doubt trusting that the inebriated eye, blurred by gin or porter, should read one for the other. A clever ruse!
The house itself is of tolerable character. There is a modest hall within, an extended chamber adjoining and even a scattering of chairs upon the very street, as though the public thoroughfare were their parlour. One may take his drink there and survey the passing world, provided he does not mind the odd stare.
As for the libations, ah, here lies the rub! They are priced fairly enough, yet arrived as though one were drinking from the very Arctic itself. Ice, sir, ice everywhere! One scarcely knows whether he is to sip a gin or to lick a frozen pond.
Still, the Bantam (or Batman, as the besotted may perceive it) is a tolerable house for an evening’s diversion, provided one brings both patience and a coat against the chill of his glass.
Im happy to see Bantam is holding on to staying a good neighborhood bar as the city grows around it. Chill vibes good food and drinks at reasonable prices. It is exactly what a gentrifing liberal implant would think a dive bar is. Which is fine since all of our real dives have been shutdown.
We went for Sunday brunch. And it was a solid choice. Everything was pretty basic that we got. We ordered an omelette and a frittata. The best thing hands-down were the sweet potato fries the sweet potato fries in themselves or solid five stars. They’re salty and sweet and just phenomenal. Everything else was just mediocre. Unfortunately the server was a little rude as well and made us feel bad for asking for more coffee. Other members of our table ordered their famous pancake with me in it, but nobody rode home, saying it was super super good. I would go back just to have their sweet potato fries though.
Bantam is the BEST. Best service, best food, best atmosphere. I’ve been coming here for over a year now and it’s become a consistent 10/10 staple for me and my friends. The owners Tim and Monica are the coolest most artistic baddies you’ll ever meet.
When in doubt, get the Cuban!
I went here with a friend to grab some beers. I was surprised that I pass this place all the time and didn’t even realize that this was a place to grab food and beer. I had a couple of beers and definitely enjoyed myself! Great view as well. I didn’t get any food but I definitely recommend grabbing a couple of beers!

This is the third year I've hosted a client appreciation brunch at Bantam, and as always, it was amazing. Tori, Tim and their team once again produced a flawless event - the food was excellent, the service was warm and attentive and the planning couldn't have been simpler with their prompt and thoughtful assistance. Thank you so much Bantam for providing us with such a wonderful gathering! Looking forward to our next occasion!
Great food and service, but you can make the place nicer inside, e.g., better seats and tables, add some potted plants, lights, etc.
