Im happy to see Bantam is holding on to staying a good neighborhood bar as the city grows around it. Chill vibes good food and drinks at reasonable prices. It is exactly what a gentrifing liberal implant would think a dive bar is. Which is fine since all of our real dives have been shutdown.
We went for Sunday brunch. And it was a solid choice. Everything was pretty basic that we got. We ordered an omelette and a frittata. The best thing hands-down were the sweet potato fries the sweet potato fries in themselves or solid five stars. They’re salty and sweet and just phenomenal. Everything else was just mediocre. Unfortunately the server was a little rude as well and made us feel bad for asking for more coffee. Other members of our table ordered their famous pancake...
Bantam is the BEST. Best service, best food, best atmosphere. I’ve been coming here for over a year now and it’s become a consistent 10/10 staple for me and my friends. The owners Tim and Monica are the coolest most artistic baddies you’ll ever meet.
