Luke was our server and he was simply amazing. He was attentive, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Before we even set foot in the restaurant we experienced great customer service with a server kindly guiding us upstairs. From the ambience, the location, the friendly staff and the delicious food, we will certainly be back.

My husband and I decided to do date night here. The atmosphere was beautiful but the food was underwhelming!! Especially for the price!!! They have a pre fixed menu featuring steak fries and a salad that’s suppose to be shareable!!! They only had flank steak available that night. Which is the cheapest steak you can get!!! Only 4 oz a person. The waiter tried to tell us it was 8oz a person…. No wayyyyy!! I have pictures!! The fries were super greasy, the salad had barely any dressing and the bread was super hard!!! We got one cocktail a piece for a total of $164!!! Which is really insane!! 1/4 piece of flank steak and greasy fries. I honestly felt like we got scammed!

We love the prix fix menu and the fries, especially. We tried the Australian wagyu instead of the standard new york strip but the regular medium rare was a little too hard to chew and cut. When it was made medium it was very good. The service was good but the atmosphere stole the show

Bar Blank - Disappointing First Visit We’re regulars at Little Sparrow and tried Bar Blank for their steaks. Won’t be back. The Bad: • Australian wagyu ($15 upcharge) - mostly gristly fat, inedible • Prix fixe steak was actually more flavorful than the wagyu • Advertised Little Sparrow cheesecake on chalkboard but didn’t have it • Only two red wine options by the glass • We each left half our steak uneaten The Good: • Fries and salad were decent The Cost: • Prix fixe dinner: $50/person (includes steak, fries, bread, and salad) • Total for 3 people: $270 including 20% tip (3 steaks, 2 cocktails, 1 wine, 1 order fries, 1 salad for 3 people - paid extra for second salad) • Upcharged for inedible wagyu Bottom Line: Came specifically for steak since Little Sparrow doesn’t serve whole cuts. Left disappointed and won’t return.

My boyfriend and I have come here a few times and have always loved it. Last night was no different! We started with some drinks at the bar, John Paul was amazing! Very kind and attentive, and super talented bartender. Ty at the front of the house soooo great too. I mentioned how my boyfriend and I hadn’t had the chance to sit inside, and that if we could, that’d be great! to my pleasant surprise he not only gave us an inside table but a beautiful corner booth! Made the evening very special. Our server, Zhania, was just as lovely. Attentive and quick and personable. She took such amazing care of us. Truly a memorable night !

Well let me say this....I have never had a black label hot dog before as a matter of fact I never even heard of it. This was absolutely the most delicious hot dog I have eaten. Very juicy and flavorful! Love the music and the atmosphere! Thank you bar blanc for a great LA Fritere experience! I will be back for the next pop up!!😋 P.S. this is a must try!!

We had heard so many great things about Bar Blanc and were excited to finally try it! The first couple of times we stopped by were before they allowed reservations, and unfortunately, there was no seating available since it’s such a small restaurant. The good news is that now you can make reservations, which makes things so much easier.
The space itself is beautiful. There’s a small indoor seating area and a lovely outdoor space. The bar is stunning, and the overall vibe inside feels chic and glamorous, in my eyes, it almost has a Gatsby feel. One thing I really appreciated is how the servers all seemed to work together as a team, which made the service smooth and enjoyable.
The concept here is unique: the menu is built around just three items, plus a great drink selection. For $50, you get a steak, a salad, and unlimited fries. The fries were super crunchy and delicious, the salad was fresh and tasty, and the steak, while just one cut, can be cooked however you like. The steak itself was just okay in my opinion, but honestly, for $50 with everything included, it’s hard to complain.
Overall, I think Bar Blanc is a place everyone should experience at least once. The vibe is great, the concept is fun, and the fries alone make it worth trying. While I don’t think it will become a frequent spot for me, I definitely recommend giving it a try at least once!

Overall a great experience! I went in with low expectations because I feel like $49 for steak, fries, bearnaise, bread, and salad is extremely reasonable, so I was not expecting it to blow me away, but I was shocked at how incredible the food was! I am usually not a steak frites person, I find it too tough, but this steak frites melted in my mouth! The atmosphere is great. I did not love my cocktail, will opt for wine next time. We ended up going to Little Sparrow after and getting cocktails and dessert at the bar, which was super convenient.
