Where do I start..... We arrived early, so we went to the bar and grabbed a drink. It was starting off well. Our drinks were good, the bartender was attentive and made the cocktails well and properly and timely. About halfway through the drinks our table was ready on time. Though when we arrived there were open, clean tables including the one we sat at. We were seated, given the menu even though it's pre-fixed menu with limited additions due to it being NYE. We heard other waiters explain the menu in detail and giving the options to their table guests. Our waiter was not as attentive, just took our steak temp request and didn't say anything else. Commented that we already had cocktails and that was it. We wanted to order the cocktail pairing in addition to our meal , but had to call the waitress back to get that cause she ran off before we could. We had to flag down our waitress several times. To order the cocktails, to get more bearnaise sauce etc. Tried to get her attention to try to receive more butter, but that was unsuccessful. Tried to get her attention about the medium rare steak we ordered being well done.... But again no go. We didn't have time to wait for everything and for the food to be reordered. We have been to Bar Blanc before and loved it. We were really looking forward to coming for NYE and having a great time and great food. Unfortunately both food and service was underwhelming. Considering they only serve steak I don't know how you mess that up.... And yes it's a pre-fixed menu always.... But that doesn't mean that your table guest might not need attention or have any requests. Also the music was too loud. Could barely hear the waitress speak and maybe that's where things went wrong cause she couldn't hear our order correctly. But also my husband and I couldn't speak to each other cause of the volume. So we mostly say quiet, with terrible service and terrible food. We will not be coming back and will not be recommending Bar Blanc to others!

My girlfriend and I chose this venue for our new years eve dining location. The least that Can be Said is that it was a very underwhelming experience. There were only tables left on the outside terrace, when we decided to make a reservation, which we were concerned about. So a day prior we called the place, asking whether it would be a cold experience. We were told it was a covered and heated terrace, so we thought it would be fine, because they told us so? From arrival to finish we were freezing. The 3 course menu were rushed. I didn't finish the entry bread and butter before main course were on the table. The food itself was also underwhelming for the price. A small piece of steak for sharing, which luckily were good. There were bearnaise enough for 2 mouthfuls, and because of the cold environment the food was as refridgerated after a few minutes. We told the waiter about the experience, but I guess he was aware of it and couldn't really do anything about it. The highlight of the meal were the fries. They were really good. Then came the dessert. The waiter asked us if we wanted to skip it. I think he observed our dissatisfaction about the whole experience, but we decided to continue with the dessert. Two pieces of low quality cake. Sorry This experience is not worth the money. 215 USD on the bill seems totally odd for the experience we got. Wouldn't recommend

The first time i came here it was a 10/10 experience in all aspects but last night was disappointing. Pros: our server was amazing, food was great, they can accommodate a vegetarian diet, + drinks were good. Cons: the host + bartender weren't rude, but i'd say more disinterested, we felt kind of a burden to them. And then the bartender added her own tip to my friend's bill!!! It's a quiet restaurant and we could overhear staff talking about how they wanted to go home, they wish they closed earlier, not wasting their time on this other table that just wanted drinks and bread, etc. hearing that, it sounds like they are under staffed and burned out (isn't the first time i've heard of a Ford Fry restaurant having poor working conditions) which is disappointing and clearly caused a poor experience for us. I can't say I won't return, but definitely not anytime soon!

I took my boyfriend there for his birthday. Everything was delicious! The star of the night besides the perfectly cooked and delicious steak were the FRITES!!! PERFECTION!! Crispy but light soft on the inside and salted just right. The atmosphere was dark intimate sexy. Great for date night. There is no menu which honestly was great to not have to make yet another decision in life. Just sit down eat your salad, steak and frites! The only slight downer was that the servers were stretched too thin. The quality of the servers was high but I felt I waited too long to see someone for requests. But very nice, very professional team.

We loved Bar Blanc! The steak was some of the best we've ever had; cooked to temp perfectly, so tender and flavorful. The service was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and the timing of service was excellent. We both felt that the bowl used for the salad was too small and made for a poor presentation - should be a larger bowl, both for ease of usage and increased aesthetics. I felt the fries were on the greasy side and the majority were so crispy that there was no potato in the middle. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
