My order was missing food, corn was hard & undercooked, and the service was a nightmare.. server didn't know any of only 4 tequila/mezcal flights on the menu, and when I tried to explain that the menu describes the flight with orange slices & tajin, he told me I was wrong. Never bothered to check the menu. It took me several more attempts to get a sad little cup of tajin & orange, "if that's how YOU want it". Um, maybe a touch of humility when you need help with knowing the menu?
Getting my missing taco.. getting the check.. absolutely everything was a struggle.
Thank you management, I appreciate the concern and I've tried to describe everything here. It was frankly a humiliating date experience, and nothing made it worth a return visit.

The atmosphere was excellent and the staff was super welcoming and friendly. The food did take more than a 25 minutes to come and the tacos were very tiny. Overall a pleasant experience and I would dine here again.
Kid-friendliness: The place is very age appropriate.

Bar Taco is great for tapas and drinks while catching up with friends. The food was good and the manager was great going the extra mile to offer customer service. My girlfriend group from college meet-up here often and enjoy it every time!

Good food and good service! Menus are QR codes, but paper ones are available on request, thank goodness. Solid tacos and sides, but dishes come out as soon as they’re ready which can mean getting your sides before the mains, or someone getting their meal before everyone else.

I frequent this location a lot. This is my first bad experience and unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be going back for a long time. Waited over an hour for takeout. Due to my long wait I should’ve been offered, more than just continued reasons why my food wasn’t ready. To continue to see people leave in and out as I waited on my food was even more frustrating.
First time ever going to this location. I've been to other locations over the years. We ordered the falafel, duck, fish, mushroom tacos. We ended up sending everything back except the fish and falafel. The manager was very kind and understood our concerns about what we were served. The guacamole was excellent though! Overall the manager made the experience better than what it was.

Great food, just don’t order Togo, it will tell you what time to pick up but everytime you come it’s almost as if they don’t start cooking till you get there…
Here’s why I won’t be going back to Bartaco:
- I ordered a grapefruit juice without ice, and they brought me half a glass. When I asked if this was the standard amount, they told me it would’ve been full if I’d ordered it with ice—how stingy is that?
-We ordered a side of chicken, and I can’t explain how miserable the portion was. The tacos and other plates were also small. The flavor was good, but for the price, you can find way better value at other places.
-They don’t start you off with chips or a little snack. For a place with supposed Mexican and South American influences, that felt surprising. They say they’re inspired by Brazil, Uruguay, and Southern California, but as someone from South America, I don’t really see the connection—maybe just California, and that’s it! 😂
The atmosphere and staff were pleasant, but I really don’t appreciate it when restaurants cut corners at their customers’ expense. Not for me! :/

Good service at the bar, good drinks, good salsa/guac, but a horror show from the kitchen.
Stale chips. Undercooked, borderline raw tortillas on the tacos. Overcooked, dry pork belly. Cold, bland ribeye. $5 for a tiny 3 oz taco is already too much, but $5 for a BAD is 3 oz taco is just insane. Worst $70 I’ve ever spent.

Extremely awesome place to eat. The food was amazing and the mojitos are really good. If you want to lose weight then this isn’t the place to be. The openness really makes the atmosphere nice.

A taco bar with many different options, not all of which are tacos, has a positive vibe and an excellent atmosphere. The service was top-notch. I would like to go again to try their many different options. #TacoTime #FoodieHeaven #

I liked most of the food, I tried almost the entire menu.
Don't like the crispy shrimp, remoulade in a taco isn't for me. Also the chorizo had a taste I didn't like. Anyway everything else was amazing and I'll be back.
