I wish I could give it more stars! The food is absolutely delicious. We've tried several items on the menu before and we've loved them all! Mr. Joseph and his team are all wonderful. From the valet parking to the kitchen, everything was perfect. For Valentine's, they treated us to 2 glasses of champagne and a chocolate rose, and there was a young man playing piano, which was a nice touch for the night. We had a wonderful evening and can't wait to go back!

Basil's never disappoints. They have the best Mediterranean food and service. It's one of my favorites.

Excellent warm service above all. What a great late lunch experience, so pleasant, and inviting. So glad i stopped by, and will return & share. Atmosphere was wonderful as well. Food was super fresh and tasty. Had the assorted empanadas & Mediterranean seabass (minus rice). Delicious!

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to Basil. I’m literally eating my meal from there right now, and it is truly exceptional—fresh, well-balanced, thoughtfully prepared, and packed with flavor.

My experience started a little sketchy, but what truly stood out was how the manager handled the situation and completely turned it around. Here’s the tea.

On New Year’s Eve, I placed a DoorDash order, and shortly after, I received a call from Basil letting me know they were closed for the evening. No problem at all—I thanked them and hung up. Unfortunately, the order wasn’t properly canceled through DoorDash, which led to an issue with my refund.

The following day, I called the restaurant, not realizing they had just closed for the afternoon. I missed them by about ten minutes and figured I’d try again later. To my surprise, my phone rang—it was Basil calling me back.

I explained the situation to who I believe was the manager, and without hesitation, he said, “Come on up—I’ll replace your meal, give you a complimentary dessert, and include a salad.”

What stood out most was his warmth and kindness. There was no suspicion, no defensiveness—just genuine hospitality and a clear desire to make things right, which is unfortunately rare these days.

Mistakes happen. What matters is how they’re handled, and Basil handled this exceptionally well. Between the outstanding food and the top-tier customer service, I’ll absolutely be back and will continue to recommend them.

Thank you, Basil.

A nice experience overall. Even though the menu for the evening was a prix fix one, we were still allowed to order from their regular menu, which I really appreciated, since we were on a budget. Excellent food, although I thought some of the tapas portions were a bit small. Pretty quick service although the place was quite busy. Nice ambiance.

The food was absolutely amazing! I wish we lived in ATL so we could go to Basil frequently! The service was exceptional and the ambiance was cozy and intimate.

Basil's is my to go each time I have out of town guests or just want to enjoy an excellent meal for the last 20 years. Never disappointed

Service was a little slow due to servers not having reported for duty as expected; owners did their best to handle all tables and were very pleasant about being short-staffed that evening.

Three couples wanted to talk with good food, good service, quiet surroundings (for a restaurant) and easy parking. Basil's is all that.

Waiter was not responsive to request for cooking salmon to med rare, and was insensitive by interrupting our conversation several times

This place had excellent service. The staff were friendly and warm. Our group came in on Thanksgiving, so there was a fixed menu and I'm not sure if what we had is on their regular menu.
The wine list was extensive and they even had an aglianico variety which is hard to find, but one of my favorites.
Our table ordered main dishes of lamb, steak, and a shrimp. All were cooked perfectly (even our rare lamb and steak). The ravioli and calamari were also great, not too greasy. The lemoncello cake was fantastic. I'm not sure if it was a regular menu option, but I would love to have it again.
This place was lovely, we didnt feel rushed, and the food ans staff made it a great dining experience.

Bad customer service. Snarky staff. Definitely not worth the price.

Our first visit and it was on Thanksgiving evening. They had a special 3 course menu with multiple choices under each course. Food was tasty with some creative and some typical options. The physical space is very quant and divided into an enclosed garden room and indoor seating. We liked everything about this experience and will definitely return.
