NOPE. NEVER AGAIN. AVOID. Food was disappointing and there were bugs EVERYWHERE. I don’t understand how they have ever passed a health inspections. Sat at the bar in front of “Apple cider Gnat traps” all over and flies everywhere, over your drinks/food. This place needs some serious help. Never returning.

The owners are such wonderful men. The food is outstanding. The atmosphere is inviting. The wait staff did an excellent job serving all of us. The wedding shower was perfect. 6/82025
Maybe this was an off night, but this was not 4.6 star level restaurant experience.
When we arrived, there was complimentary valet service since there wasn’t much street parking around in that neighborhood. It was a nice touch to have the car already waiting when we were ready to leave.
We were given the option to sit inside or out. The patio was nice with umbrellas for sun coverage and it was nice and breezy. The bulk of the patrons sat outside. Leaving the dinner room empty that evening.
The waiter was persistent coming back and forth giving us the specials and such.
The drinks were pretty good overall.
They brought us this tortilla with chunky marinara and melted cheese on it. I tried it twice both times it left much to be desired—I’d recommend never serving that again.
Then, two of ordered the fried ravioli which tasted like they weren’t freshly fried. They were stiff. We also shared a “crispy cauliflower” which was in fact roasted and the sauce was like a chicken picatta sauce, but it was not the flavor balance. I tried to couple it with other items on table, but it was still wasn’t that good. I mean. That cauliflower tasted like cauliflower, but again, wasn’t a dish I’d get again.
The two other individuals got the grouper and snapper. They were happy. So, the fish was a hit.
And the part that saved the day was the dessert! Get the tiramisu cheese—it was very good. But not good enough to improve this review to >3 stars.
I wouldn’t go back here.
There were also some flies here and there, but we were eating outdoors. So, there’s not much to do about other than maybe light some of those anti-fly candles or something.

Awesome place, surely a gem. Celebrated my hubby's birthday here and the staff went above and beyond to make his birthday unforgettable. We felt like we were eating among friends. Ouz greeted us and served us; he was super friendly and gave us great recommendations on the menu. Every dish was a taste of heaven.

I absolutely loved Basil’s!! The atmosphere was very cute. The owner greeted us as we walked in. All of the staff was so warm and welcoming AND the food was fantastic! We ordered the lamb ribs, which fell off the bone. The empanadas was amazing, and the scallops were totally scrumptious and perfectly cooked! I can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu. I definitely recommend this place! It’s a great date night spot and probably the best kept secret.

Good food, great atmosphere, and delicious cocktails. The service was also very good. Some of the food names were a bit confusing — I had to Google them before ordering. Overall, it’s a nice place to celebrate a special occasion.

Menu and reservation system emphatically state wine by the bottle is half price on Sunday and Monday. We ordered three bottles of wine and were charged full price. When we questioned this the bill was recomputed to reflect wine at half price. The waiter (who was a seasoned employee) stated the policy had recently changed from Monday and Tuesday. Hard to believe unless the menu was printed in the last 24 hours that this was a new policy. Even if it were one would think a full time seasoned waiter would know the policy. We left believing there was an attempt to rip us off.

Great patio & phenomenal brunch buffet (they only have it for certain holiday), & personable service. Best restaurant experience I’ve had in Atlanta, and I’ve lived here 4 years!

Ordered their rib eye steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables on the side. I was disappointed at the lack of seasoning on the steak. The dish was $57 but tasted like a $10 dish.
