My partner and I have been coming to Bastone for maybe two years now, we've never come for the service but always for the food and drinks. After monday night I think this restaurant has fallen off of our "go-to" list. Drink service and greets are typically slow but the drinks are delicious, the price just doesn't fit for us. We usually come for the focaccia and the fat a mano cheese, both were not good. the cheese came out cold when it is usually around room temp and the focaccia tasted bad. We ordered a happy hour pasta (the first one with pepper and cheese) and it was also not good. Gummy pasta, oily, overly seasoned. Our bartender never offered another round leaving us to get his attention to get another when we wanted. We left with a $80 bill for cheese, bread, pasta, 2 drinks during happy hour (only one of our drinks were happy hour pricing). It's clear they have updated their menu and are trying new things which we appreciate, we just can't justify an $80 bill for a below average dinner.

Bastone delivers authentic Italian comfort food that hits all the right notes. The pasta is rich and flavorful, with tender meatballs and a perfectly tangy tomato sauce, topped with fresh spinach and grated cheese. The house-made focaccia is a must-try crispy, airy, and drizzled with olive oil. Cozy ambiance, great service, and unforgettable flavors make Bastone a go-to spot for an incredible meal!!!

We had an exceptional experience at Bastone! From start to finish, everything was handled with such care and professionalism. Although there was a mix-up with our reservation and no table was available upon arrival, the manager went above and beyond by opening up the private dining area to ensure we were seated and could enjoy our evening. Their kindness and quick thinking set the tone for a memorable night.
Our server, MacKenzie, was absolutely lovely—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The cocktails were perfectly crafted and absolutely delicious. As for the food, it was nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish felt authentic, homemade, and bursting with flavor. It’s clear that great care is put into every aspect of the dining experience here.
I want to especially thank the manager, Treaser, for their outstanding help and hospitality. It’s rare to encounter such dedication to customer service, and it truly made our night special. We’ll absolutely be back and can’t recommend Bastone enough!

Hubby and I went for happy hour on Friday evening. We only ordered from happy hour menu. The bartenders were excellent and so were the drinks. I got the rum based drink on the happy hour menu and hubby got a bourbon based drink that wasn't on the menu but still available. The foccacia bread was top-tier, everything else was just ok. We ordered the shrimp tapas and cacio e pepe pasta-I'll never order either again. My hubby also ordered the meatballs. He said the meatballs were really good! So 2 of 4 dishes were really good!

I cannot let go of how terrible disappointed I am with Bastone for this first time. I ordered ubereats tonight. I ordered the following:
1.) two orders of the brussel sprouts, which they usually give a decent amount in a medium box. What I got was two small boxes with barely 1/4 filled in each of them (mind you, the Brussels are $13 each)
2.) crispy potatoes which I am used to getting from here and grana, usually filled with a good amount. What I got (and I kid you not) right small pieces of potatoes (at least the dipping sauce was filled to the brim) those potatoes were $11 dollars!
3.) Tuscan fried chicken: the past few times I ordered it the chicken was fresh and there gave decent amount polenta at the bottom with even little round soft baby onions with it. Not this one-the chicken was dry (you can tell it was not freshly made and I could not finish it because it was dry) and I assuming that was polenta with it , but this was runny and barely any was in it.
Granted the manager was nice who spoke to when I called to complain (once about the amount of sprouts and then once I opened uo the crispy potatoes box to only find the 8 small pieces), but he tried to say it was because they switched to smaller plate items. Well if that’s the case, it is still pathetic the small amount they put in each box…. And the fact he says the prices still remain the same (despite them switching to some smaller plate items). very disappointing considering I paid close to $80 dollars!

We have visited the restaurant a few times and used to be obsessed. Their charcuterie boards were amazing but they have since gotten rid of them. Instead now they have tapas, pasta, and salads. They still have the mozzarella and meats but nothing to go with them how they used to like bread, crackers, honey, olives, really everything that goes with a charcuterie board. We used to go out of our way to go to this area for their fresh mozzarella and charcuterie boards, but now we can just get tapas and pasta somewhere closer. The service also used to be better and more professional.

Gotta give 3 stars simply because of the portion sizes. Food tasted great. But for the price points it wasn’t enough. I have never been to an Italian restaurant where I didn’t feel full after I left. Again what i and my friend had tasted really good but pasta is not expensive to make, be for real and make sure the portions sizes match the price points.
Service was fantastic! The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, sitting on their patio is definitely the way to go. however, I think the food is overpriced, especially for the portions you get. very limited menu, if the menu was larger the place would be an overall 10/10. Do not get the focaccia bread.

Fantastic, friendly service, I felt so welcome, like I was among friends. The food was also delicious. The mozzarella and focaccia are a MUST, it’s the best I ever had. I recommend the the Ricotta Gnocchi and the Zitti!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here. I could really taste the love in the food. But the standout was the dessert. I can't believe I forgot the name, but it was new when I went. Basically a creme brulee with caramel sauce on top. Every bite was just as magnificent as the last. I would come back just to eat this dessert!

Extremely expensive pasta in the wheel. We added truffle so it went from $25 to $55. It was blend and boring, tasted like pasta water. The experience of watching the cook making the pasta was amazing but followed by a disappointing when we tasted it. Not worthy trying!

Exceptional (I mean it) service from Lupita the second we walked in. Christine was so kind and even shared some fun facts about the board she recommended (specifically for us!) also…the Tuscan chicken was *heavenly* wow wow wow

Everything was great! The happy hour menu was nice and I'll check it out next time. The portion size didn't match the price to me but, the food was good. Our waiter was amazing!
