Been here twice! The food is always great and the vibe is cool in the den, but the hospitality is not what I'd expect from a ford fry restaurant. Staff seemed indifferent that we were there and even though there were only two other parties in the restaurant during our dinner, tickets were lost and two separate orders of food never arrived. Back of house did great and the food is delicious but front of house needs to lock in.
I went for brunch since I've been hearing about their donuts for years. I do not know what took me so long. The crab omelette was perfectly cooked with the consistency of the eggs not being too dry and the hollandaise sauce added just what it needed. The donut was better than I expected, and my expectations were already pretty high.
I hate that my favorite dish (skate wing) is no longer on the menu. The service, however, was outstanding - not only was our server patient and knowledgeable, he made every effort to ensure we had a positive experience.
