Big Kahuna Atlanta

Stopped by during a stay at the Marriott Marquis nearby (1 block away) and so glad I did. Great place with lots of choices, fresh food, and friendly service. I had the fish tacos which were really good. I don't often order fish tacos as when they are bad, they are bad .. but not here. I loved my three with a side of chips and salsa. Only regret was instead I should have did the mix and match as you can have three tacos but all different. Nice cold beer on tap and reasonable prices. Come here - you'll enjoy it!

We chose Big Kahua based on proximity, menu, and appealing name. Our choice was immediately validated when we arrived. Our waiter changed tv channels so we could watch multiple competive college games, then the real experience just got better. William (waiter) and Dani worked in tandem serving us and growing number of incoming guest within the 2 hours we dined and watched college football. The diverse taco options, coconut shrimp, hot fries, caramel churros and drinks were supper. We’re in town for the Falcon’s game and will always make this “The” restaurant stop when in town. Pleasure have quality service, fair prices, and great sporting atmosphere.

The only thing that matches their incredible food is their incredible customer service! Our server William was on point from start to finish, and the manager Dani was the definition of superb. Can't wait to come back again!

This place is just okay. Food was decent, our group got chips & salsa, tacos, a chicken sandwich, a couple bowls and some drinks. Everything seemed to be up-charged for a special DragonCon menu and the quality was just well below the price. The host/manager was somewhat aloof, not very welcoming; service was slow, perhaps because their gratuity is automatically included even for smaller groups (we were 4)

TLDR; pretty ok food but on busy nights, slow service, ordering issues, and staffing issues. Avoid during peak hours.

Went during peak season on labor day weekend, 9 people with a reservation and we were there before the place was even busy.

We sat and ordered quickly but some food came out nearly immediately other took 30+mins, food was fine. Total time took us a little over an hour to get in and out.

We also order 3 of the exact same drink and 1 other drink and the waitress showed up after everyone finished their food with 7 different drinks.

Service sucked, waitress was covering too much ground, it got busy after we showed up and she never had a chance to come back and check on us.

Peak season with bloated pricing (20$ for a 20+oz drink that was maybe half that), everything on the menu was 20$+.

Food was not too bad, but I would avoid this place on any busy night if you like good service. We're very accommodating to our server and still tipped 25%, however we will accept a lot of problems before we take issue. This place pushed that boundary, hence the review.

Went here for evening cocktails and they were really, really good! Ask for MJ when uou go here, young man is friendly and easy to talk to. Makes some really good drinks too.
We had a variety of taco's and they were damn good!
