Solid place—especially for a weeknight. Good atmosphere, foods good, drinks are good, vibes are strong. Sometimes the service is a little slow

I walked in and went directly to the hostess stand. At that time I was instructed to sit wherever and I asked if that included the patio. So I then sat at a table on the patio, I sat there unacknowledged for more than 10mins. I watched the bartender/waitress come outside to the patio multiple times. There was only one additional table sitting so this was not a matter of not seeing me. She looked at me and never cared to even ask if I would like a glass of water. That was quite a humiliating experience. I’m really disappointed as I looked forward to trying Birdcage on one of my few days without my daughter or work.

Street corn, quarter chicken, sweet potato starter, mojo tofu, fried plantain, rice and black beans. Everything was delicious and well seasoned.

My Sister and I enjoyed it. Alex was very nice, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is inviting. The queso was delicious. My bacon and cheese grits were perfect. Next time I'm in Atlanta, I'll definitely try to visit the Birdcage again!

We stumbled upon this place and WOW! We got the Birria Benedict and sourdough bacon, egg, cheese avacado. It all was divine. The atmosphere is inspired by the movie. The service was top notch. We will be back!

Popped into Birdcage early Friday for lunch & grabbed a seat at the bar. The food was fantastic & MISSY was wonderful - her recommendations (including the Shining Starina, their take on an espresso martini) were spot on. The jalapeño poppers and sweet potato bravas made for standout starters. The adobo chicken is a must-try …perfectly spiced, tender, & balanced beautifully with the sauces & pickled onions. The Southwest kale salad was the ideal pairing. We finished with the coconut custard pie …thick, rich, & just sweet enough, like something straight from grandma’s kitchen. Hats off to the chef for not only the food but also the dope playlist! We’ll definitely be back.

I really enjoyed this place! popped in for lunch on Wednesday with my husband. The shrimp tortillas and chicken tacos were great. We also got the grab claws which had great flavor but were wayyyyy overcooked, had to literally scrape the meat off with my teeth to get it off lol. I’m sure they would’ve replaced if we mentioned it but we didn’t feel like complaining lol. Aside from that a beautiful atmosphere, and very friendly staff! Will definitely, definitely be back!

What a great place!!! Five stars is not nearly enough to rate the magnanimous experience we had here. We were greeted with the warmest smile that felt like a hug and Lala hit it out of the park with her energy, knowledge, and passion. We even had the pleasure of meeting the Chef owners PAUL and Sean. The food is extremely well priced and prepared and presented with love. We finished the evening by popping over next-door to the Fire Pit. And it didn’t stop there. Unfortunately, we were full, but had a couple of drinks out on the cushy comfy patio.. Cannot wait to return for what was voted Atlanta’s best wings and those crispy brussels sprouts that I saw being devoured. What a gem! I actually live two hours away and I’m coming back just to return to this great place! Don’t walk, run to the Birdcage and Fire Pit!!!!
