Linens and glasses were dirty when we sat down. We had to find our server several times. Coffee came from n chipped cups. Food was good but greens weren't all fresh.

Bistro Niko is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta! Always consistent in service, food quality, ambience... etc. Love going here!

Great meal had the mussels and French onion soup. The skate wing and halibut. It was all delicious. The citrus tart & sorbet was a perfect finish

The wine selection was ‘just right' and the sea bass entréé was incredible! The ‘rhum dessert' made us wish for the cremé bruléé - but the coffee was on point! Valet parking at $2 started the evening with ease...

Haven't been to Bistro Nikko for quite some time now and was given a gift card by someone at work. Took the family and was pleasantly surprised, food, service, atmosphere, excellent. Aaron our server took great care of us and checked on us frequently. His recommendations were spot on. I'll definitely be back for dinner again.

We celebrated my best friend's birthday and we were very impressed with everyone all around. Our server Ryan was amazing. Very attentive, personable and had a good sense of humor. Ryan, Evelyn and the support wait staff were fantastic. The food was delicious. We were floored how good the filet mignon was it was at par or above local steakhouses. The sea bass and desserts were delightful. We enjoyed it so much. We will be back next week too celebrate another friend's birthday. Please acknowledge Ryan and Evelyn and the entire team for making us feel like welcome guests.

I have been to Bistro Niko multitudinous time for lunch and dinner. Last night i went with my sister, my wife, son and his fiance. We were all looking forward to it and i had told my sister how good it was. The service was ATROCIOUS! It took 20 minutes to get a glass of wine or a cocktail. We finally ordered and the appetizers came but the server forgot what my son ordered for his entree and had to ask him and this was 1.5 hours after we ordered. FINALLY the food came and I mean FINALLY and none of us could eat all of our entrees because we waited so long!! This was not up to Buckhead Life standards and was an abysmal experience. I am writing a letter Monday morning. Nowland Gwynn

Good was great, service friendly but weak. Asked to have wine delivered with appetizers but it was delivered 20 minutes later so appetizers were cold. Entrees were delivered before we were through with appetizers. I had to get cutlery from an unoccupied table as waiter forgot about request for cutlery. Fries, ordered with meal were delivered after entrees were finished. All in all very weak service. Disappointing.

I decided to treat myself to one of the top-rated Atlanta restaurants to start the holiday season and invited a guest to Bistro Nico. When I walked in, I thought I recognized somebody that I knew and asked if I could walk around the restaurant which they said fine, and then we then sat down at our table. I explained to the waiter that I had received an invitation, via email, to join the restaurants celebration and the special $49 per person special celebratory menu. I explained this to the waiter and said I had a gift card to use . We then ordered and I got the fish and asked to switch the string beans to broccoli. The waiter said in a very condescending tone that the French people do not eat broccoli. I stayed quiet but wanted to reply "while I know you are a French restaurant, this is still in Atlanta and I don’t think broccoli is such a big ask, but chose to just stick with the string beans and would not eat them. My guest then ordered and attempted to switch his starch to mashed potatoes to which the waiter said "I don’t understand why you both keep making changes - there are NO substitutions. Period". He then said can I order it and pay for the mashed potatoes and the waiter said fine. At that point the general manager came over to the table, and I was already frustrated because of the no substitutions and asked me to see find the email and how I was going to pay. I explained I get over 1000 emails a week as a self-employed individual and was not going to take up my time finding the email regarding the special, but I did show him the gift card. I was so frustrated by this point that I got up to find another manager, as things were spiraling, and met Sherry. Sherry was very nice, friendly and professional and I said I felt I was being harassed by the other manager and explained the series of events. She understood my position that I was not having a relaxing evening and said she would get a new waiter and just to return to the table and relax. Much to my surprise, the other rude manager, was listening to the entire time conversation with Sherry and when I went back to my seat, as Sherry suggested, this rude manager, an older white male, came over to the table and said to us that he called the police, and I had two options. Leave the restaurant immediately or deal with the police. I have no idea why he was so obnoxious and threatenin. There was no yelling, no other guests were inconvenienced, there was no screaming and certainly no pushing or shoving. I consumed zero alcohol, which the order would prove. As we were walking out, Sherry was standing by the door and asked where I was going, and I explained that I was told to leave, and the other manager called the police. She could not believe how the situation became so escalated or that her colleague would threaten a patron. I have probably spent close to $15,000 at Buckhead Life Group over the years and renting out rooms for company holiday parties and family milestones. I frequent Chops regularly. When I was outside, walking to my car, the rude manager was also outside, talking to the off-duty police security guard describing me. Luckily, Kelly escorted me out to my car, otherwise I am sure that the off-duty security would have believed this crazy manager story and tried to come over and further harass me. I suggest one stay away from this restaurant as the staff do not follow best practices nor training and are downright obnoxious. I would like to thank Kelly for being sweet and attempting to make things right, but her counterpart just would not let it go and made things just more heated. If this is the type of experience you want, dine at Bistro Nico. If you want a relaxing evening with reasonable staff and management, go elsewhere. This was the worst dining experience of my entire life, in any city and in any restaurant.

Great food and great ambience. Recommend valet parking instead. It’s about the same price as self-parking.

This was our 2nd year in a row dining here celebrating my wife's birthday. First, we noticed that their three course dinner special is no longer on the menu that was a slight letdown. We instead went for one appetizer and one entree.

Food is absolutely top notch. Their Veal Tenderloins Chasseur is nothing short of perfection—incredibly tender and bursting with a rich, flavorful sauce that is a delight with every bite. The Mussels "Le Coze" are another standout; pristinely fresh, delicately prepared, and served with a broth so delightful that we used the complimentary fresh warm bread to soak it up.

Why didn't we give this place a five star mainly comes down to service. Several times, I had my hands up for minutes before someone would acknowledged my presence (asking for an extra fork, asking for the check, asking to pay said check, etc).

Overall, Bistro Niko a must-visit for anyone craving a sophisticated yet approachable Parisian dining experience. We are already looking forward to coming back next year.

Ate at Bistro Niko last evening. Restaurant was beautifully decorated for the upcoming holidays and filled to capacity. The staff and manager were all hands on deck working tirelessly for the diners. Couples, families, and business groups. Looking around, everyone was enjoying themselves. Aaron was our server. Did a great job. Our dinner was excellent. Fries came out undercooked. Told the manger lady walking by, and bam, we had piping hot, French fries brought to us within minutes. Great job Bistro Niko.
