Black Coffee Atlanta

Ordered here about three times via DoorDash. The first time was good. I ordered the Bagel and Boujee. Everything was tasty including the coffee. Second time I ordered, things started going downhill with the plain bagel and cream cheese. They weren’t fresh nor delivered with care. I gave them another try and ordered again today. This time the Avocado toast with argula red onion etc. This pictured is not at all what was expected. Very disappointing. The Avocado delivered is brown with wilted and unsightly argula and other wilted slimy vegetables. The coffee (the love below) has been good in the past, just okay today. They don’t seem to be consistent with their food. They could also do better with their packaging to prevent any tampering from delivery drivers. The coffee is always delivered openly with just a lid. Not good.

I love the atmosphere, unapologetically black positivity. The coffee was good, food was good and the music was nice. I definitely recommend checking out this spot.

We came down to Atlanta from Michigan and went to Black Coffee for their nearly-perfect rating with over 1,000 reviews - and it did not disappoint! I had the ALT and added a fried egg and it was PHENOMENAL. The coffee recommendation was just right, and if we lived in the area we'd definitely come here all the time. If you come to Atlanta for any reason, this is the place to go for breakfast!

I LOVE BLACK COFFEE! The space is so warm and welcoming, they really prioritize community & making everyone feel at home. The Owner Jamin is absolutely amazing and truly cares about his customers. NOT TO MENTION, the coffee is 10/10 and they leave sweet affirmation notes on the cups, truly special.

Light bites are always fresh. Service is impeccable. The Black Coffee team makes each customer feel welcomed in. In fact, family is probably the more appropriate description for us (vs customers)!

The atmosphere is one that is reminiscent of the kind of company that values the community it serves. Most recently, I had the opportunity to be part of Black Coffee ATL’s Toy Drive. What an unbelievable show of love during the Christmas season, and an example of their commitment to others year-round.

Whether you live on the southside or not, it’s worth the drive. Every person I’ve recommended it to has put visits on repeat. As a entrepreneur. I have done a few pop up shops here . The owners are very nice and the staff are amazing . This is a great place to get work done and a great place to get a bite to eat as well .

I frequent Black Coffee at least once or twice a week (would be more if I woke up on time! ) and enjoy my experience every time I walk in! The vibes are amazing, and the drinks match that quality experience. I encourage everyone who comes to Lakewood Heights or even passing through on Jonesboro to stop by and grab a cup or pastry.
