I traveled from Ohio for my birthday weekend Feb 7-10th 2025. My man and i were dressed up for my birthday dinner, only to arrive to an empty parking lot. An employee at the Metro business next door told us it's been closed for months. We met another couple that traveled from Virginia. Telephone number was disconnected yet the website was still up as though it was still fully functioning. Mind you the neighborhood is extremely sketchy. I've always supported Kandi and love her music and wanted to experience the fun I've seen videos of. I was so hurt & disappointed.

This place is closed. I went here on 02/08/2025. From the neighboring stores they said it has been closed at least 3-5 months, but online it shows open.

Honest Review

This business is never open and don’t have the decency to update their hours on google and will have people drive far out just for it not to be open. Typical ATL behavior the restaurant is good for a while just to get popular and then next the customer and experience is dead! This has happened several times.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday, and my husband, family, and friends organized a surprise dinner for me at Blaze. My husband had meticulously planned the evening, complete with reservations and confirmation, and we were all dressed in matching outfits in anticipation. However, upon our arrival, we discovered that the restaurant was closed, with no lights on and no signs of activity, despite it being 8 PM on a Friday night. I was incredibly disappointed, as this unexpected turn of events overshadowed the excitement of the occasion. Given the effort that went into planning this celebration, I am disheartened and will reconsider my support for Kandi and Todd's other businesses as well after this incident.

I am writing to formally address an unfortunate situation regarding a reservation I made at Blaze Steak and Seafood, owned by Kandi and Todd Tucker, for a party of 20 on July 26, 2024. I had invited my close friends and family to travel to Atlanta to celebrate a birthday dinner. However, upon our arrival, we discovered that the restaurant was closed, with no lights on and doors locked.

This situation is particularly disheartening given that I had called and spoken directly with a staff member to secure the reservation and was instructed to pay $450 to accommodate our group. It is frustrating to have taken those steps, only to find the establishment closed.

We received confirmation emails and text messages leading up to our event, yet there were no notifications regarding the restaurant's closure. A passerby informed us that Blaze Steak and Seafood had not been open for weeks. The lack of communication is disappointing, especially since a simple email or text could have effectively notified us of the situation.

This oversight not only caused inconvenience for our party of 20 but also led to unwarranted travel in inclement weather in support of a friend’s business. My intention is not to focus on the closure itself, but on the critical need for better communication in such circumstances, especially a Celebrity with such position in the Atlanta area. Unexpected changes can occur, but timely notifications can significantly minimize wasted time and resources.
