service isn’t a top priority for all of the staff. the bar staff is solid.
yesterday, just after happy hour — during the dinner crowd,
a server (wish i had grabbed her name) had me and a person i was meeting for a dinner meeting wait for a table to be bussed down. then after 15 minutes came over and told me some people took my table and then she continued to serve them. she made me wait another 15 minutes or so in a corner. as the place continued to fill in she just left me sitting. not even offered up as much as a water while i patiently wait.
super off-putting on the service side of things across all staff. because like i said, the bar staff is solid. the young woman from behind the bar tried to serve me and i wasn’t even at the bar. she just noticed i wasn’t being helped properly by her colleague.
probably will only do bar service here or take out if at all.

The vibe and dj was cool..10/10.
However, I bought a house margarita $15 and fries with tax and tip total was $27.70!
And that margarita sucked...

Blu Cantina can be a cool vibe, especially for a group. We sat on the patio for our Taco Tuesday group. Food is ok, house margaritas just taste like mix, blue lemon drop special just tastes like blue, etc. Our friends at the table next to us never got their drinks or food, and they were there before us. Our waitress was good, though. You have to remind them to turn the speakers on outside. DJ was good. Security is good and will ID you no matter how old you look.

It is hard to beat their happy hour, but if you make it in on a Tuesday you're really in for a treat. The wings never disappoint; lemon pepper is my go to but the peach bourbon is undeniable. The fried chicken tacos are amazing. Drinks are good also, I'd recommend the whiskey peach margarita. One critique is when they're busy it gets a lil hard tracking down your server. FYI if you want to sit at the bar, you better come early because seats are hard to come by.

The food was really good. I tend to judge a restaurant by their appetizers, as this is my favorite part of a meal. And they have one of my all-time favorites, which are cheddter stuffed jalapeno poppers. I prefer cheddar over cream cheese for poppers and is the only place I've come across in many years that has them. I got one of the salad bowls and the texture of the bowl is the best I've ever had! It was a dense yet airy and crispy bowl with a toasty buttery flavor rather than old oil like you get with, say, fast food restaurants. Our server was really good at first, but she didn't pay us much attention when a friend came in. Being midday, we were the only table she had so I felt like she could've been more attentive with a few things, like I started crunching on ice after I ran out of drink and when she finally came by, I had to ask for more water. We asked for separate tickets but she put it all on one. My only complaint about this place is that the seats, whether at a booth or a high chair table or the bar, the seats are horribly uncomfortable high up and hard! My legs kept falling asleep sitting in the booth because my feet couldn't touch the ground and made it hard to slide in and out too. They need a regular table option. Otherwise, the atmosphere feels relaxed.

Ordered from drink menu, waitress did not bother to tell us the margarita price on the menu was different than what was stated. Also, I was charged 20% gratuity for 2 people not sure why. Food was just ok, not that great. I got 1 appetizer, 2 tacos, and 2 drinks and paid $101. I’m actually a little upset. Was not worth it & I will not be coming back!

My boyfriend and I needed a date night last minute and decided to check this place out. The music was good, the wings were good, and the server was good but my only complaint was they were overpriced. The hookah was $45 then I was charged $35 for a refill. Then each Long Island was $14 each. After ordering 2 of them i decided i wanted a pitcher of something else instead and she came back with 2 more Long Island. I Told her i didn’t ask for that and wanted a pitcher and she said she couldn’t take them Back due to policy and I didn’t want to go back and forth about that because for the most part everything else was fine. We spent over $200 in that place and it’s not like it’s a fancy dining spot.
I love it here ! & the dj on Saturday night on 11/2/24 did his big one . Keep him in there lol .. he played all the good hits

They only get 2 stars for the service. The food here is terrible. It’s like you have to be drunk to enjoy it and even then it’s only alright. But the atmosphere and service were great.
The food didn't have much flavor and it was overpriced. The staff was helpful, I just didn't like the food at all. There are better options in the area.

Me and 2 of my girls stopped here for some drinks. We had a great time. It is a millennial spot, but my Auntie friends (50+) had a blast!!
Jayla is the best server I've ever had! She was so attentive and treated me and my girlfriends like we were the only people there. Definitely will be back!

It’s rare to find a place with good deals. Food isn’t anything to write home about but definitely a good place for happy hour and a cheap treat with the girls. There is hookah, good music and all the servers are baddies. Overall nice vibe
Kid-friendliness: Not for the kids. Hookah lounge and bar vibes

Great location. Been twice now and neither time was I impressed. Service was slow. Food was mid. Happy hour drinks were weak. Just go somewhere else.
