tried their saffron butter chicken, paneer saag, naan, paratha, an papdi chaat!

their saffron butter chicken was creamy and unique, you could rlly taste the saffron. sadly papdi chaat was a dissappointmet, there was very little chutney and mix ins that it was basically just a layer of dry papdi’s at the bottom. malabar paratha looked good but a bit too oily for my liking

overall, would return because the service was nice and I liked the two main dishes, but wouldn’t order the chaat again

BEWARE: The vegan food is not actually vegan. The server informed me that ALL the dishes have dairy in them. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back here again for this reason. It’s very misleading and disappointing to read one thing and be told another.

I ordered food online and one item was missing from my order. When I called to report the issue and request a refund, they refused to provide one. Instead, they insisted that I place a new order, pay again, and come pick it up just to receive the missing item for free. This was not a reasonable solution since the mistake was clearly on their end.
When I declined to place another order, the staff became rude, used inappropriate language. This interaction was extremely unprofessional and offensive.

Today we had a very disappointing experience.

Our office ordered lunch and one item, a mango lassi, was missing from the order. When we called, the restaurant acknowledged the mistake. However, when we asked for a refund for the $6 drink that was not delivered, the employee said the manager was on vacation and they couldn’t process a refund. Instead, they offered free food only if we placed another order.

My coworker simply asked for the refund. After some back and forth, the employee became very unprofessional and began insulting us, calling us “broke” and using offensive language.

The issue was never about the $6, but about the principle of paying for something that was not delivered. Unfortunately, because of this experience, they lost eight customers from our office today.

Ordered food to my office and they forgot to get an item for me. Upon calling back and asking for refund for the missing item, they used curse words on the call and asked if i was broke that i needed my refund back.
NEVAAAAAA GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.
The food also had no flavor in it.

Dining at Blue India in Atlanta was a wonderful experience, especially when you’re craving authentic Indian flavors while in the United States. From the moment we walked in, the aroma of traditional spices instantly reminded us of home. The ambiance was warm and inviting, blending modern style with subtle Indian touches.

What truly stood out was the food. The menu offered a wide variety of classic Indian dishes — from rich, creamy curries to flavorful biryanis and freshly baked naan. Every dish carried that genuine Indian taste, perfectly balanced with spices and seasoning. It didn’t feel like a toned-down version made for a different audience; it felt real and authentic.

My son and his friends absolutely loved the experience. For them, enjoying food in the U.S. with an Indian touch was something special. The familiar flavors, combined with high-quality ingredients, made every bite enjoyable. They especially appreciated how the dishes maintained traditional taste while still feeling fresh and modern.

Finding truly authentic Indian cuisine outside India can sometimes be challenging, but Blue India delivered beautifully. It’s a unique spot in Atlanta where you can experience the comfort of Indian flavors while enjoying the vibrant dining scene of the city.

This is the best Indian food in Atlanta hands down! The buttered chicken with garlic butter naan melts in your mouth. The crispy chaat Bhindi is a great choice for a appetizer. The staff is not so bad to look at either. 10 out 10. Tell them Nicole sent you!

Blue India is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out — our server was fantastic, taking the time to explain each dish and clearly break down the spice levels, which made ordering easy and enjoyable.

As someone from the UK who truly loves a proper curry, I can honestly say this place delivers the real deal. Since moving to the US, it hasn’t always been easy to find Indian food that tastes authentic and full of depth, but Blue India absolutely nailed it. The flavours were rich, well-balanced, and exactly what I’ve been missing — not watered down, just genuinely traditional and comforting.

If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine with knowledgeable, friendly service, this is the place. I’m genuinely so happy to have found a spot that reminds me of the food I love back home. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back. 🍛🇬🇧

We had a very disappointing experience at Blue India Restaurant. We made a reservation in advance, but when we arrived, we were given the worst table available — right next to the entrance door. Cold air kept coming in every time the door opened, which made it very uncomfortable to sit there.

On top of that, our seating was close to the kitchen area, and due to poor ventilation, my eyes were constantly irritated and burning.

The most frustrating part was the service. Our food took almost one hour to arrive after ordering, which is unacceptable, especially when you have a reservation.

Overall, the experience did not match our expectations at all. Very disappointing.

I’ve tried many of the places in Atlanta for Indian food, this unfortunately falls right down to the level of Tabla for me.

In terms of space, the restaurant gave a cramped feeling. Also when I walked in there was lots of smoke in the room. It wasn’t a vapor, it was definitely a smoke. Probably from the various tikka dishes they offer.

The issue with the smoke was that it wasn’t momentary, it’s a lingering issue with the entire dining process. It made my wife’s eyes sting the entire night, as well as us hearing other patrons complain to the waitstaff about the same thing.

As far as the food goes, the biryani was very bland, and I needed salt, which took almost 7-8 minutes to arrive (not sure why they don’t keep at the table like typical restaurants). The only reason that the food isn’t getting a 2 is because the paneer appetizers were actually nice, but having the entree fall below expectations was disappointing.

The biryani is 25$ and cocktails are almost 16$ each. The price is a robbery almost for the quality. The price makes the food seem upscale, without having the food taste that way.

Also, they are unable to accommodate guests of large parties. While charging an automatic tip with a group of 5, the waiter told us that he was unable to split the bill for more than 2 , so I ended up having to cover the bill and getting my friends to Zelle.

Definitely won’t be a return spot, since there’s much better options of places I’ve been in the Atlanta area for better quality food and more reasonable prices.

My favorite Indian Restaurant in Downtown Atlanta. Chicken 65 is incredible and appreciated by my whole family, even non-fans of Indian cuisine. Salmon Tikka is my wife's favorite. I like the Lamb Boti Kebabs and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Their biryani is decent but I prefer Tabla's biryani if eating downtown. They have a parking garage around the corner and will validate. Call them for directions on where to park if needed.

Smokey, disjointed and lackluster. If you are serious about the food you eat and overall experience, do not eat here.

Spices are well balanced. Meats and paneer options are both well prepared.

Food prepared at a rapid rate for a group > 12 people.

Remember what you ordered if you’re along side many other people.
