Good service, ambience was nothing special but the food was absolute amazing. We ordered dal makhni, kadai paneer, dal tadka, and bhindi chaat. Bullet naan and roti were great.Vegetarian options: There wasn’t too many vegetarian options but those that were there were really good.

Only the ambiance is ok but the food is average, nothing special about the food for the price they charge. We were 6 people and our bill was $280.0 We ordered 2 appetizers and 4 main courses and Yes our bill did include drinks that too only 5 (wayyyy over price for drinks and btw I don’t think they used quality alcohol for the price they charge) Everything is over price here which is fine we didn’t have problem with what the price due to being in MIDTOWN. But they charge you for even completely items which at other restaurants. We have been to hundreds of Indian restaurants that too in different states but NO ONE EVER HAS CHARGED US FOR SLICED ONIONS that comes with dinner but at this place they DO CHARGE AND THEY CHARGED US TWICE $6. For us this was our definitely FIRST AND LAST VISIT. The reason Service was also below average for adding forced service charge of 18% Well overall I don’t recommend this place if you’re looking for good customer service and good food for the price you pay.Our food took sooo..long more then an hour before bringing it to our table after ordering and it was cold not to mention they were not busy and it was Saturday.

Below average service by manager. Online accepts reservations at 9:45 when they are closing at 10. We were there at 9 and order within 5 mins and got our food after 9:35 with being told that kitchen is closed now you can not order anything more where they are still accepting new customers at the same time. Food was cold.

Don’t go to this place guys. We had worst experience. We ordered paneer chilli as appetiser, only gravy was hot, paneer was cold and chewy. For main course, they gave cold bullet roti. After main course was served, they said kitchen is closed but they were accepting new customers which is pathetic. Save your money and spend somewhere else, not here.

EDIT: Blue India recently decided to raise their prices tremendously. What used to be a good value, no longer stands out as an option with so many other restaurants nearby.Good food with a great location. First time visiting and will absolutely be back for many many future meals. Loved it.

The food here is hard to beat. Seriously, they have the best butter chicken I've ever had. We smelled the spices a few weeks ago and decided to try Blue India next time we came to Midtown. The taste did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great. Our server was attentive and very nice.

Had the restaurant to ourselves. Opens 2x times in a day. Get there before 1:30. 5pm is the open for sinner I believe. Kitchen closes at 2. Red Snapper was tasty and cocktail with rose flavored simple syrup with rose garnish was good and strong. Gin I believe.
We were tourists visiting from out of town looking for some good Indian food. We took a ride share. We arrived a little ahead of dinner rush. We didn't know you needed reservations due to how crowded it gets. But the manager allowed us to come in. We really appreciated it, otherwise we would have had to turn around and take another ride share back to our hotel. The food was delicious, service was great!

Beautiful atmosphere and well presented food but there is almost no seasoning to the dishes that we ordered including Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, and a Chickpea Curry. The food had a good consistency with quality meat but very little flavoring.

Excellent service, excellent staff and delicious food. The vegan chicken Tikka masala was amazing along with the potato dumplings.
