Creative asian-Italian fusion dishes. Challenges the taste buds. Some of the mains were cold and took a while to serve

Special thanks to waitstaff and chef for preparing a low salt special meal for me. Fabulous house-made pasta and marinara sauce, supplemented with blackened chicken strips to add protein. Really superb.

One of the best restaurants in the city. The food is consistently amazing, the service is great, and the environment strikes my ideal balance of refined yet understated. I love BoccaLupo and can’t wait to go back!

BoccaLupo may seem modest from its exterior, but once you cross the threshold you find yourself in a truly elevated dining experience. The GM Shannon did an excellent job of making you feel welcomed, giving you a hint of the amazing service to come. While waiting for our table to be completely set, we sat outside on their front patio where we were served cocktails that seem to break the laws of reality. A bourbon with miso coming to you looking as clear as water, yet the flavors pronounced and deep. A tzatziki drink, again coming out as clear as water but with a scent that can’t be confused with anything else but tzatziki… however you take a sip and it has this beautiful sweetness about it that is refreshing.
Once we were seated, the fun really began. We had an amazing server, Emily, who knew the menu and described it in a way that made your mouth water. When she described the tasting menu of the evening, I couldn’t even hear the price because I was so vividly imagining the food with the description she provided.
Now to the food! The antipasti was incredible, our table had the pleasure of trying 5 different antipasti and all of them were incredibly unique and beautifully plated. The flavor profile of each one being absolutely remarkable. I don’t think I could choose a favorite because they all were special and delicious in their own way. Some folks at our table weren’t fans of fish, but the crudo and octopus were a hit even with them.
Onto the Entrees!
Majority of our table tried the different entrées available. I had the goat cheese ravioli which was complimented by the cooked apples that added a complimentary flavor to the very clearly fresh goat cheese ravioli. My partner had the bolognese, while being a very safe dish to get at an Italian restaurant, the quality of it made it stand out against every other bolognese I’ve had.
One of us had the pleasure of ordering the tasting menu which was a next level experience from course 1 to course 4. Starting with a takoyaki with a beautiful piece of raw salmon on top. Then onto a black noodle in a creamy corn and onion sauce for the second course. Then the third course, perfectly made Wagyu with broccolini, pesto, gnocchi. And a wonderful apple pastry that again was perfectly baked. Big kudos to the baker working in the kitchen!
And most importantly a big thank you to Kim, the chef who was responsible for making sure the pasta was perfectly cooked. As all our dishes were centered around pasta there was a lot riding on their skills and they did not disappoint in the slightest.
Definitely will not be the last time I enjoy dinner at BoccaLupo!

I don’t even know where to begin with this place! First, it’s important to know that you absolutely need to make reservations well in advance, I usually book at least two weeks ahead. It’s always worth the wait though because this restaurant is truly unique, fresh, and consistently amazing.
The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and the food is top notch. Some of our favorite dishes include the black pasta, which is spicy, flavorful, and perfectly fresh, and the shishito peppers, which are to die for and so much better than we even expected. I do wish they would bring back the original chicken parm because that’s the dish that got us hooked in the first place.
The drinks are always spot on, and their wine selection is equally impressive. The ambiance is ok, as many tables are super close to each other, but not something that is complain worthy.
Every pasta dish we’ve tried has been outstanding, and honestly, we’ve never had anything here that disappointed us. This place continues to be one of the best dining experiences around.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here, which was our first time and it did not disappoint! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to my sleeping toddler (giving us a pillow to make sure she was comfortable). They made every interaction feel personable and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed working there!
All the dishes that we had were packed with flavor and left us wanting more! Specifically the crudo with crispy rice and the branzino. You can appreciate the effort that went into the presentation and the way that all the flavors blended together so perfectly. We also enjoyed their cocktails and their cheesecake that we had for dessert.
We're already excited to go back and try out even more!
10/10 would definitely recommend!!

BoccaLupo is consistently the most charming, delightful dining experience I have in Atlanta. The food and drinks are incredible, but it’s the staff (from the host, to the bar, to the waiters) that make visiting worth the while. Every time I eat there, it’s like visiting with old friends who have opened up their home to share their favorite recipes with their community. For those who value connection and care as a side to a delicious main course, BoccaLupo is the place to be.

By far one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. The food was fresh and uniquely delicious. The service was professional, fun, and helpful. Portions were perfect so we didn’t feel stuffed and we ate everything including delicious desert. This was a great experience!

Intimate space with great food. Employees really care about their customers. After having us wait past our reservation they gave us a free appetizer. And after mixing up our entrees they gave us a free dessert.

Food was delicious, the squid ink spaghetti is my favorite pasta dish in Atlanta. The previous time it was almost too salty but this time it seemed like it was just the right amount for the dish and I wished I would’ve said something that last time. Seeing it properly seasoned was fantastic. The food has improved from the last visit, and I can’t wait to go back.
It’s not always that you leave a restaurant feeling like your mind has been tickled but this was the feeling from this visit. The drinks have interesting mixes and the dishes do as well. It’s quite wonderful to see how these ingredients pair so well together.
Service as always was great.
Taking a couple points off atmosphere as the indoor dining area can get very loud.

Superb food with amazing vibes. The meatball app was easily the best appetizer I've ever had. Shootout to the amazing host that helped us get seated without reservations (Sorry I forgot his name). Only part that could be a bit better was the fact that we saw our server but he didn't talk to us at all with the exception of taking our order, bringing the check, and then silently hovering over us while we were boxing our food and getting ready to go. It was weird enough to where I questioned if there was tip pool because I didn't enjoy him but wanted to make sure everyone else got paid for this incredible experience.
Also has the watermelon cardamom drink, kinda weird, expected it to be sweeter. Well made just not for me.
Cant wait to be back for our next date night.

Wonderful time at dinner with a few friends. Got the tasting menu & a few more dishes that didn't disappoint. Atmosphere, service & timing was on point for sure. Love that everyone that drops off food reviews it instead of dropping off leaving you wondering.
