We loved working with Bold Catering for our wedding day. From the planning to the food and service on wedding day, everything was perfect! Mary Margaret was fantastic to work with! She was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. Our venue didn’t have a kitchen onsite, and they brought all the kitchen equipment and necessary staff on site for a plated dinner service. What would seem to be a logistical nightmare, Mary Margaret was so organized and ensured everything ran smoothly on wedding day, which it did! All of our guests absolutely loved the hors d’oeuvres (especially the chicken and waffle lollipop!) and entrees. Definitely book with Bold Catering if you want high quality food and service!

I was genuinely excited about the possibility of working with Bold. Their menu is playful, creative, and exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. Unfortunately, the communication throughout the inquiry process was consistently disappointing.

After submitting my initial inquiry, I had to follow up multiple times just to receive a response. Two weeks later, the reply I received from Michelle was a standardized message directing me back to their website, which I was already familiar with. Given the timeline, I expected a more substantive level of engagement.

Additionally, the quote was not provided within the timeframe that Michelle promised. I followed up with Michelle two days after the missed deadline, and it has now been over a week with no response.

Given the number of follow-ups required, the missed timelines, and the lack of communication—prior to even contracting— I did not have confidence in entrusting Bold to deliver the level of care, reliability, and execution required for a wedding. While the food concept is appealing, the customer service experience was not. Catering is a customer service industry first and foremost. When communication and follow-through are poor before a contract is even signed, it raises serious concerns about execution on the actual event day.

I hope Bold improves their communication, so future couples have a better experience when considering them for their big day.

As wedding planners, we had the pleasure of working with BOLD Catering for a recent wedding at The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge, and they were absolutely amazing! Their food and service were outstanding. The team was fun, professional, and collaborative. Guests raved about every part of the menu, from passed appetizers to the plated dinner, desserts, and even late-night snacks. We highly recommend them for any couple looking for incredible cuisine and flawless service!

Make sure that when you tip for staff services that the tip is handed directly to the individual(s) it is intended for or they may not receive it at all.

We had passed hors d'oeuvres and a buffet menu that combined traditional Southern and vegetarian Indian cuisine. The team was mindful of guests' dietary restrictions and preferences. The entire staff was great, and we especially appreciated the fun, friendly bartenders! We also appreciated the excellent and timely communication with us throughout the wedding planning process and directly with the venue and coordinator during the wedding. The staff handled the room flip between the ceremony and reception, which was seamless and on time.

We used Bold for both our catering and decor for our wedding, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! Our guests were raving about the food for days after! The florals & decor were also stunning and really captured our Bridgerton themed wedding! I’m only docking one star because my bridal and bridesmaids bouquet didn’t turn out quite as I had hoped. The color palette for the bouquets was a little off from what we initially discussed (but still overall very pretty). Other than that, our wedding was absolutely spectacular I would definitely recommend Bold for your wedding or any other events!! (Especially for catering!)

I have thing good to say bold catering, the team members cooking the food were extremely nice especially the Spanish women. But management ( Shawn perry) was not kind at all. Any attempts I made to lighten the tension didn't help. It's was like he didn't like that fact that I wasn't new to the type of work. Now this is a catering company now, which means they cooking a lot of food. but it didn't stop and when it did he disappeared and showed back up when it's was time for me to clock out after working a 9-4 on my feet. Then proceeds to get an attitude when I pushed the urgency of me leaving, when everyone knows you're supposed to start pre-cleaning before clock out. And lastly the building has to be so old so I ended up stepping on a few roaches in the kitchen where the food was also being prepped. So pesticides are needs for that small warehouse. Wish I had some pics but I was too busy

Bold provided several key elements such as the shadowbox bar and the shelving units which featured custom patterned backings that were designed to match our couple's wedding crest. However, they wore more than just one creative hat for this event, their florals stole the show!

Their floral work was bold (pun intended), intentional, and seamlessly aligned with the event’s aesthetic. Melissa went over and above to help curate and paint the pottery needed for the centerpieces. She and the very talented Denise created stunning floral towers with euro-mesh accents that perfectly filled the center of our curved banquet seating arrangement—adding height, texture, and a total wow-factor to the space.

We used the same company for both our wedding catering and decor, and I’m so glad we did — it made everything so easy and seamless! They worked so well together. We worked with Melissa for decor and Mary Margaret for catering, and both were so easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. The food was 10/10 — our guests are still talking about it — and the decor was absolutely stunning. Couldn’t have asked for a better team to bring everything together so perfectly!

I used bold for my wedding everything was exceptionally. The service was great, and the food was amazing. Kelsey was great to work with. My guests still rave about the food from the cocktail hour to reception, including the ice cream station.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Bold Catering for our event, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Jaycee was a dream to work with—always responsive and attentive to our needs. The execution was flawless, thanks to Donald and his exceptional team. Every detail was handled perfectly, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. I've long held the belief that food at most weddings is average at best. It's a difficult job to serve good meals for hundreds of people at the same time, especially buffet style. Thank you Bold Catering, for proving me wronger than I've ever been. The food at our wedding was exquisite, including the special meals prepared for those with dietary restrictions. And they made sure that we actually tasted everything. If only they had a restaurant we could eat at on a regular basis. Ten stars (even if the scale only goes to five).
