Excellent service and food with portions so large we ate leftovers for days.

The food is great and the atmosphere is really awesome! However, the person who hosted trivia on 5/28/25 was suuuuuuuuper condescending and rude, so I wouldn’t want to do trivia again if they’re running it. They literally called most of us stupid multiple times which is extremely unprofessional. After that she invited everyone to her comedy show after insulting us like 12 times 😭 No thanks lmao. Truly insane to act like that at WORK

This place has good food, no doubt.

That said, the clientele has went downhill fast, and talking to my neighbor yesterday, they have bought a litter stick, cause taking our dogs out here, having to be cautious they don't step on broken glass or eat old food and garbage that the rich upper class slobs that eat here decide is not their problem, has become a hazard.

Between broken glass, trash everywhere, and what has become a straight up blight, is downright infuriating.

Whereas I used to enjoy my balcony next door, now I can enjoy late night trivia from hell Wednesday and Sunday evenings with loudspeakers infiltrating my living room for 2 hours louder than my TV would normally go, as well as all this trash.

Add to that, that the clientele just seems to love parking right in the fire lane, and even blocking entrance for those of us who LIVE HERE, leading to bus horns blaring non-stop throughout the day and into the evening, something seriously needs to give, and the owners need to practice some neighborhood pride, instead of catering to those who are bougie and careless.

Bona Fide Deluxe? More like Bougie Fide Slobs...

For a place that serves sandwiches that are around $15-$20 a piece, would expect a bit more class.

One of the best sandwiches on the east side this place never disappointing if you want a good sandwich y'all need to come here and tried to see if y'all like it... One of my favorite spots to get a sandwich

Love the decor and the vibe, the staff is really chill, food came out quickly and the quality is incredible! The burger, pimento cheese, and special of the week (basically a Philly cheesesteak) were amazing. The prices are fair considering the portion sizes and quality. Absolutely will come back!

The sandwiches are huge and flavorful! We tried the Korean fried chicken sandwich, pimento cheese, sea man fries, and grilled cheese for the kiddo! Our kiddo said it was the best grilled cheese ever! The sea man fries were thick wedge fries with seafood flavored seasoning with tarter sauce! It was a great spin to traditional fries.

Awesome Al pastor special, everything was amazing.

Love Bona Fide and have been many times. But please bring back more bread variety for the sandwiches. The ciabatta style bread just ain’t it and not good for all sandwiches. Still love yall though.

Delicious. Sandwich is big enough to share. Falafel was the $&#! definitely recommend. Staff is so super helpful. It's a vibe.

How about this place, I had it on a list and totally forgot about it. Glad we stopped by in a rainy day. Counter ordering is efficient and the guy taking the order was very helpful with recommendations and super friendly. We had the place to ourselves so Everything was very fast but they clearly know what they’re doing. The decor is funky and fun and the purple cushion bench seating is comfortable. Everything we had was amazing, the corn and cucumbers and beets were incredibly tasty. Not sure which we like best, but would order all of them again. The sandwiches were filling and the Cuban has a little kick and glad we tried it. Will definitely be back.

Had the hot Italian and squashed cucumbers, both were phenomenal. Parking was easy to find and the service was pretty fast. Definitely gonna repeat.
