We might have visited on an off day, but our experience was not enjoyable. We did not feel welcome during our time there. While the food was decent, it wasn't anything special. Additionally, we were overcharged for our meal, and no resolution was offered to rectify the situation.

Boum Boum was such a vibe! Suraya was the sweetest host—she made sure we felt so welcome and taken care of the entire time. She recommended the jollof rice with goat, and OMG… it was so good. Flavorful, tender, and honestly the highlight of our night. We’ll definitely be back! 💛✨

Sadly as a Nigerian I probably will not re-visit this establishment. They try hard to run up your bill and then include a gratuity of %18. Very disappointed overall in these sorts of tactics, especially knowing that you’re being completely overcharged for mediocre food.

Food was terrible! Served me kabobs so hard i couldn't bite it. I asked for my meat medium well. They served it in a to go container even though we dined in. The meat was so dry it was white. Manager said only lamb chops and steak could be medium well and walked off with no accommodation, apologies, or accountability. Waste of money & time. I'm tired of supporting these type of establishments

We were very disappointed to be served drinks in 8oz cups. We paid about $34 for two drinks in 8oz cups that was filled to the brim with ice.
Egusi soup that I ordered wasn't even hot. To top it off, most soups come with a side of starch, ex fufu, eba. They charge you extra $5.00 bucks for starch. This place is not worth the money they charge. Look out for the 20% gratuity that's applied to each and every check. No need to tip. Overall our waitress was fantastic

Be sure to monitor your charges. I was charged $80 for wings and one drink. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a receipt and the bartender added unauthorized tip.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience after being mistakenly accused of not paying my tab.

First, if you’re looking for a great atmosphere and good music, this place is definitely worth a visit for a drink or two. However, I was disappointed with the food. I ordered a burger, and the bun was stale, which is unacceptable. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she seemed confused and offered me another bun after I pointed out how hard it was. Unfortunately, the second bun was also stale.

When I brought this to the manager’s attention, she explained that their bread is different from standard burger buns and that they don’t typically cook burgers, which is puzzling since it’s on the menu. She offered me a 15% discount, but that didn’t really help since I still had to pay taxes and gratuity.

To make matters worse, I was accused of not paying my bill, which was incredibly offensive since I did pay for the burger I couldn’t even eat.

Here are a few suggestions for improvement:

1. Consider changing the burger bun to ensure it’s fresh and not stale.
2. Have your kitchen staff double-check the quality of the food before serving.
3. Ensure that servers accurately match customers to their tabs.
4. If you have a final sale policy, the quality of American dishes needs to be better.

Additionally, I would like a refund for this experience. I am not comfortable paying for food that was below standard and then being accused of not settling my tab. While the vibes are great, there is clearly room for improvement in the kitchen and in server training.
