Downstairs service is super slow. They'll give you a few excuses why???. They were clearly more interested in serving the regulars and one of the bar tenders told me that I don't have to only order with her but I could order from anyone behind the bar. But then nobody behind the bar came to ask if I needed anything. Smh.But go upstairs and they'll serve you pretty quickly.

Bar service downstairs was a complete miss. Bartenders in the downstairs were not at all attentive to the customers. We patiently waited to be served, and worked had to get bartenders attention with no real luck. Finally after we received our first drinks and meals, we noticed that they all seemed to be focused on serving their “friends” instead of paying attention to new patrons. We couldn’t even order our next set of drinks because they again were not attentive to customers. After several attempts, still no luck. Me and my friend got frustrated and told them to just close us out, we paid and left. Sorry - but I can’t tolerate bad service especially when I am trying to spend money.

Completely forgot to take food pics because it was all so good, we inhaled it! Chicken sandwich with pimento cheese and bacon jam seemed to be the table winner. Also tried the blackened fish sandwich and Brussel sprouts that we both great. Great decor - the railroad/boxcar/hobo theme was skillfully created throughout the restaurant. Great service on a peppy Friday afternoon. This restaurant is located within a grouping of bars, restaurants, breweries, distilleries, and fun just beside the Beltline. Keep exploring!

Good food, a little pricey for what it is. I have had a few bad experiences with the kitchen getting the food out, and wait staff not exactly being attentive. Bar is good and the style and whole plaza is fun.Kid-friendliness: Don't bring your kids to the beer plaza.

I had a great time here & my service was excellent. I want to especially thank MIKO! We couldn’t have asked for a more efficient server. he had so much personality & was very knowledge about the menu.All of his recommendations were on point & his smile was contagious. My friend & i both had the burger, fries & beers & it was all PERFECTION! MIKO is the BEST! Box car is doing sumthin RIGHT! That’s all I gotta say!

First time here. It was a Nice place. Dope setting. They took forever with my food but once everything was in the Managers hand. Everything was good. I’ll return.
Sam on the bar was EXCELLENT tonight. It was really busy and she was constantly moving and grooving and everyone in her section was taken care of.Never have I had a bartender memorize my name after one visit, let alone everyone else’s around me. It was such a special touch. Thank you Sam!
