Allowing Open Table reservations on nights they are not even open. Tried to take my out of town guest there on Thursday, Nov 7 and we arrived for our 8pm reservation only find locked doors and an empty parking lot. Guess you just gotta try to figure out when they’re open or not but I won’t make the effort to patronize them ever again.

I’ve been here with parties of 4+ before and it was usually a great time. Today I had a going away brunch with 12 friends as i’m moving out the country for 9 months. The hostess said majority needed to be there which we were within the 15 minute grace period. We then ended up waiting for 30+ minutes for our table to be ready so all 10 of us stood off to the side looking silly. The server/manager then took another 15 minutes to greet us and offered us shots and then didnt return with the drinks we originally ordered for another 15-20 minutes. 3 of us ordered bottomless mimosas and she never refilled them so we essentially paid the bottomless price for one single carafe. She then took forever to take our order and half of us got our food 20+ minutes before the others without so much as an apology or acknowledgment for the slow service even though the restaurant was empty at that point. Super disappointing. not sure if they just were unprepared to host a large party or what but not worth the automatic 20% gratuity she received because the service was BARE MINIMUM

Do not order from here. I ordered takeout from doordash. I paid 30 dollars for a salmon Alfredo and they have me the smallest piece of salmon and only filled half the tray.

Love this spot, been coming here for years always been a good experience until Sunday 9/1. Male Bartender (named Blue, I believe) provided the absolute WORST service as he walked back and forth around an almost empty bar and didn’t acknowledge us. Even after calling him over and confirming we could eat at the bar, he stated we could then continued to ignore us. We sat there for an hour watching him provide service to everyone else, talk on his phone and even TAKE A SHOT with another party sitting at the bar before I just got up and requested to be seated at a table instead, which we were & our server Tianna was amazing and really shifted my experience that day. Thanks Tianna for your amazing service… glad my gratuity went towards her instead.

Food, hookah and music were great per usual. Experience at the bar was just ridiculous.

Revisited on a Sunday for brunch. Opted for the bar. Our bartender Blue was cool yet busy. Although my bacon was burnt...the lemon drop drinks distracted me from that fact. Lol. French toast was good and my husband enjoyed his lobster tacos. Music level was just right. BUT the lemon drop drinks ia what got me! Taste good and had me feeling good. BQE is always a win ?

The music was good..I haven't been out in a while since this whole pandemic/covid19 situation. We kept our masks on and only removed when it was just us...I didn't see much of social distancing...or like sanitation or covid precautions. Maybe it was in the number of people, however it was packed. I enjoy bqe though. Looking forward to going back. However practice your own safety measures when inside

We really enjoy this place! The DJ was GREAT! So was the service. I had the short ribs with mashed potatoes. It was a little salty but really good! Will definitely be back the next time I’m in

Tia did an amazing job and honestly the best hostess I’ve encountered at restaurants in Atlanta! Will definitely come again just for her. The food was 4/5 as the Mac and cheese was a bit oily, but Tia made up for all of it

Recent visit to BQE and Gerald was our server. I must say out of the now three visits I have made to BQE this was the absolute best.

Gerald was a vibe, very attentive to his tables and also ensuring that we enjoyed the entire experience. Definitely a pleasure knowing he is a leader at this establishment and also were privileged with him being our server for the day. Will definitely back again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at BQE in Atlanta, and I must say, my experience was made truly memorable thanks to our fantastic server, Gerald. From the moment we sat down, it was clear that Gerald was dedicated to providing top-notch service. He was super attentive, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our brunch.

Gerald's customer service savvy really shone through as he effortlessly navigated our requests and offered excellent menu recommendations. His knowledge of the dishes and drinks was impressive, and he took the time to share his personal favorites, which helped us make some delicious choices.

What stood out the most was how he never missed a beat. Whether it was checking in on us, bringing out our food promptly, or even just sharing a friendly conversation, Gerald's energy and enthusiasm elevated our dining experience.

As a visitor from Mississippi, I was looking for a great brunch spot, and I think I've found my new favorite in ATL! The combination of delicious food and exceptional service made for a perfect outing. I will definitely be back, and I can't wait to see Gerald again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, BQE! The music was nice and the place looked really nice. The bathroom was not stocked with tissue or paper towels. I did let the front staff know so no one else would run into this issue. Our waiter was argumentative when feedback was provided on what was not liked. They did not have most of the stuff I wanted on the menu which was disappointing and I sent an item back because it did not taste fresh or good. The waiter argued that it was fine, which was frustrating because you cannot make me like something. The ladies with me expressed their food lacked seasoning, but that this was not normal because they loved this place. Upon asking questions, the waiter showed attitude on her face and body language as if I was bothering her to do her job. The waiter was very nice when she was trying to promote her own personal business. There was also no one really in the place so it was not busy. Not sure if it was just the wrong night because many people highly recommended this place.
