So glad I finally made it to this place!
As a French person, it’s not easy to find truly high-quality, flavorful French-inspired brunch dishes in Atlanta that don’t just rely on a French-sounding name to justify the price. This spot delivered on all fronts — the food was absolutely delicious (the biscuit is a must-try!), and the cocktails were just as impressive.
From the bartender to the hosts and wait staff, everyone was welcoming, kind, and attentive without ever feeling overbearing.
What I particularly appreciated, and what might not suit everyone, is that the ambiance felt more adult-focused. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed brunch date or a gathering with friends. I personally prefer a calm atmosphere when I eat, and I loved being able to enjoy a meal without the usual hustle and bustle of a family-focused restaurant.
I’ll definitely be back!
Perfect French omelette, there was so much flavor in the pesto I don’t know how they even got it so flavorful
Limited but good menu options.
Geat staff and convenient location.
Reconnected with a great friend from work. I ordered al la carte the pancake (to die for), eggs and their version of bacon which is crispy prosciutto. Eggs needed salt. My friend ordered the toasted baguette with jam and the croque monsieur. The sandwich was not very good. The cheese was too thick. We both had the chocolate chip cookie to go! Excellent customer service!! Wish they had a smaller version of the pancake!! Parking is a minimum of $10. Brunch ran about $50 including tip for both of us.
I’ve always loved the breakfast options at Bread and Butterfly (especially the croque-monsieur!), but today I was particularly pleased by the kindness of the staff who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable after passing out from the heat while waiting for a table. Can only recommend even more! :-)
Bethany is an amazing mixoligist. Try the plantain buns, hatian patty and djon djon.
Excellent service, coffee, and breakfast.
French brunch in Atlanta. You cannot go wrong. Come for the food and maybe see a celebrity.
As always, had the most incredible dining experience at Bread & Butterfly that i’ll think about for days. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, inviting, and full of charm. Jess makes you feel completely at home—like you’re not just a guest, but part of something special. Her warmth and energy set the tone for the whole evening.
And then there’s Chef Demetrius… wow. Every dish is a journey—layered, thoughtful, and bursting with flavors that completely blow your mind. You can feel the passion and creativity in every bite. It’s not just dinner; it’s an experience.
Honestly, it’s easily becoming one of my favorite spots. The food, the service, the atmosphere—everything is just on point. Oh, and do yourself a favor and order the French 75. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. 🍋✨
If you haven’t been, go. If you have—go again. This place is something special. 💛
Great all around brunch place! Good espresso martinis and pancakes!

Bread & Butterfly is one of our go to spots visiting almost once a week. I'll be honest, the food could be fine and it would be a place we'd go back to regularly because the staff. They are warm, professional, and clearly have high expectations is their own service. Luckily, the word delicious doesn't do their food justice. Everything is amazing including some of the best cocktails in Atlanta.

We came by for dinner with a party 7 on a recent Friday night and highly recommend trying dinner here for a lovely fine dining experience. We were able to call ahead to see if there was room for our large party and our table was ready when we arrived. With a large group, we were able to try most items on the menu and share tapas style - highlights included: the Plantain Buns (try them dipped in the etouffee from the scallop dish!), the Haitian Patty, the Tasso (lamb belly), and the Beef Bouyon. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, sharing the details of the dishes as they arrived at the table. The care and attention for each dish was apparent!

This is the second time we've tried to dine here and both times we were greeted by the same host. Each time, she's suggested the wait time is long and not worth our time. Almost as if she wants to close early for brunch.

Very fresh ingredients, loved the salmon toast and scones the most! The quality is super good, and the decoration is also very atmospheric

Perfect French-style lunch. It's clear a lot of love went into every dish and drink. The crispy potatoes might be the best fried potato dish I've ever had.
